Guest guest
Krishna Krishna's Ascendant is *Taurus* and his *Moon* is also here and at exalted potency. Taurus is the feminine sign of Venus. Thus Krishna had exalted beauty and femininity is all aspects of his body and mind. In fact he is known as " Bhagavan " - which means that he is the Surpeme Attractive Person. The impact of beutiful and sensuous Venus on Krishna's body and mind is extremely amplified by powerful *Ketu*. Krishna's Ascendant Lord Venus is with *Saturn* in the 6th House of Enemies - and Krishna always had troubles from ememies. But he vanquised them all one by one, more from his intellect than from brute force. This is shown from tntelligent and quick-moving *Mercury* in the skillful 5th House. Krishna's love affairs are nothing short of scandalous in the highest degree to the untrained eye with convential moral standards. Just see scandalous and misfit *Rahu* sits powerfully in the 7th House of Krishna's romance. Krishna had hundreds and thousands of wives - another effect of the supercharged amplifier Rahu in this house of marriage and romance. *Mars* is exalted in Krishna's 9th House of Morality. Thus although he is well known for his playful romantic escapades, he is equally well known as the speaker of the moral masterpiece, Bhagavad-Gita and a king who upheld justica and morality in his society. *Jupiter* in the 11th House of Pleasure made Krishna's pleasures and friends to be the highest and most excellent imaginable. *Sun* in the 4th House Aries gives Krishna exalted artistic skills and mastery over the emotions and affections of others. Guest guest
Vic most of what u said is in order excpet his wives he has on record of SRIMAD BHAGAVATHAM has just 8 wives AND THE OTHER HUNDREDS [Gopikas] that is misunderstood as wives are ones who had the illuaiobET VWBWFIT THAT THE LORD WAS WITH THEM. it was more Maya than real and this is again pure devotion than romance at least not the flirting /promiscious kind. and these Gopikas are the Monkeys [soldiers] from Ramayana who also were enomaoured by Sri rama's looks in Ramayana and did want to have his company, which Sri rama blesses them with in their next birth in his next Avatara as Sri krishna and thus gopikas are his affectionate [Rasikas] followers from ramanayan and they did enjoy his company even notional as all of them had the same feeling at the same time it is said pure bhakti form. in the 8 wives it was raha as a lover and rukmini as the Amsa or part of Lakshmi who he was deeply attached rest r avatara related. Guest guest
Prashant, I'll get you exact references, but in fact Krishna has Rukmini as his primary queen, then 8 main wives, and then he married all the princesses who had been kidnapped by the monkey demon, which is thousands. Thus the traditional number of wives for Krishna is 10,108 astro desk wrote: > Vic > > most of what u said is in order excpet his wives he has on record of SRIMAD > BHAGAVATHAM has just 8 wives AND THE OTHER HUNDREDS [Gopikas] that is > misunderstood as wives are ones who had the illuaiobET VWBWFIT THAT THE LORD > WAS WITH THEM. it was more Maya than real and this is again pure devotion > than romance at least not the flirting /promiscious kind. > > and these Gopikas are the Monkeys [soldiers] from Ramayana who also were > enomaoured by Sri rama's looks in Ramayana and did want to have his company, > which Sri rama blesses them with in their next birth in his next Avatara as > Sri krishna and thus gopikas are his affectionate [Rasikas] followers from > ramanayan and they did enjoy his company even notional as all of them had > the same feeling at the same time it is said > pure bhakti form. > > in the 8 wives it was raha as a lover and rukmini as the Amsa or part of > Lakshmi who he was deeply attached rest r avatara related. > > Best wishes > > Prashant kumar > > On Sat, Jun 14, 2008 at 1:53 AM, Vic DiCara <vicdicara wrote: > > >> Krishna >> >> Krishna's Ascendant is *Taurus* and his *Moon* is also here and at >> exalted potency. Guest guest
Dear Vic, The traditional number is 16108 wives. I think you made a typo mistake. Just correcting the same. The link http://www.pilgrimage-india.com/north-india-pilgrimage/dwarka.html and the extract from the above link as under - Rukmini Devi Temple This small temple, 1.5km north of town, is an architectural masterpiece. Rukmini is the most important of Krishna's 16,108 wives. The temple walls are decorated with beautiful paintings depicting her pastimes with Krishna. This temple is said to date back to the 12th century. regards, Bhaskar. jyotish-vidya , Vic DiCara <vicdicara wrote: > > Prashant, I'll get you exact references, but in fact Krishna has Rukmini > as his primary queen, then 8 main wives, and then he married all the > princesses who had been kidnapped by the monkey demon, which is > thousands.
