Hi all

I have regarding photo of lord ganesh ji.

1> Some where I have read that trunk (nose) of lord

ganesha should end towards right side of devotee when

we face the photo. Is that so ? In my house I have

photo where it points to my left side when i see that.

2> As per vaastu (as some website say),we must not

have 3 ganesh-photo in our house. Is that so ? What is

the reasoning for the same.

I have two lord ganesha photo in my puja room.

Thanks

Angel

There is nothing like you should have only right or left trunk ganesha. Right

trunk is the siddhi vinayaka. What i have learnt was that left trunk is easy to

worship. I am not sure about the three photos stuff. Because i have 3 photos in

my house, two Siddhivinayak and one Kshipraprasâda Ganapati.

May be some one else can shed more light on it.

Regards

Bharat

1) Does not matter where the trunk faces.

Its auspicious both ways.

2) Do not keep 3 Ganeshjis in pooja room.

In house does not matter. If three brothers

all love Ganeshji, would not they keep

each 1 photo in their room ? How

does it become inauspicious? No ways.

But one should not have 3 statues or photos

in same pooja roome.

Again its all in the eyes ,I mean the beauty,

and the beholder. I used to keep several

photos of many Gods in my room (All big Posters)

especially of Lord Krishna. Finally after 1-2

years of doing this, My wife she got fed up

of my false Bhakti (As she rightly thought that

time),and we removed most of them,except 1 -2 Photos.

My main aim when I had kept more of them, was to

develop His rememberance at all times, wherever I

gazed at all around. I believe I have been partly

successful with His Grace and now I do remember

him for most part of the day, or I can say

many times for short whiles during the day and before

I go to sleep at night.

regards,

Bhaskar.
