Guest guest
Again – we land up with the classic dilemma. How do we establish the veracity of Pt. Gopi’s claims. I can’t think of any way. Hence, we have to trust the hypothesis and dive into our own selves to see if we can experience the same. Enough material is there to suggest that the experience is not the same as well till you reach the highest pinnacle. Have a good day bye Sheikh Pervez Hameed lalkitab [lalkitab ] On Behalf Of kulbirbance Monday, April 14, 2008 19:44 lalkitab [lalkitab] l.k rao kundalini and lalkitab/thanks Rao Sir, i read the book by pt. gopi krishan again and found a stark resembelance in chapter 16 of the book with the manner in which lalkitab is written. especially the sentence on page 171 ... I FELT WAVE AFTER WAVE OF CONSCIOUS ELECTRICITY PASS THROUGH ME REPLETE WITH KNOWLEDGE TO WHICH, BECAUSE OF THE POOR CAPACITY OF MY BRAIN, I COULD NOT HAVE FULL ACCESS. Perhaps this is the answer to the missing links, rationale and logics of lalkitab. thanks for showing the light regards kulbirbance
Guest guest
Dear Pervez, I'm afraid, there is no dilemna at all...because : Firstly, Pt.Gopi Krishna's bizarre experiences were only because his experience was a sudden occurrence which he,his wife thought it to be just a case of typhoid, very common occurence in those days...but when all the doctors in town put up their hands, the got alarmed and almost gave up hope when to their great good fortune a visiting Holy Man(himself an adept as it turned out) visited him and after listening to his long story, discovered that his problems were because his Kundalini had instead of ascending up the Sushumna Nadi,it had perhaps gone up the Pingala Nadi etc... He then took charge and nursed him back to normalcy...that is why the arousal of one's Kundalini should be attempted ONLY under the observation of one's Guru who himself should be an adept himself... Secondly Gopi Krishna's first book, " The Awakening of The Kundalini " was a sort of autobiographical " record/diary " of what he had gone through when his Kundalini awakened, unexpectedly especially when he was himself the least prepared for it... Later he had written many more books on the subject...the best book among them,in my opinion is " Higher Consciousness " ...discusses the subject in greater Depth... He later went on to found The Kundalini Foundation, which published a journal/magazine " Kundalini " ...and so on.. The fact that the arousal of Kundalini can be dangerous if undertaken without the guidance of a Guru...is well-described in most good Tantric Texts... That the Kundalini was actually the sublimation of Sexual Energy has been well brought out in most Tantric text Books but in recent years by Acharya Rajneesh in his now famous work... " From Sex to God Head " ...unfortunately many Tantrics followed the Tantric Texts literally, and thus brought Tantra into disrepute... Many Buddhists from China,Bhutan,Nepal and also India practice Buddhist Tantric Rituals even today... The close relationship of Kundalini with Sex is beatifully described by a Great Lady Tantric from Kashmir Lalleshwari...in poetical form which is still considered a classic yet un paralleled in Indian(Kashmiri)Literature... The arousal of the Kundalini through the various Chakras bestows certain para-normal faculties on the person...There are cases of people who wrote in chaste English,or Chaste Russian or some foreign language at will...mostly while in a trabce state(an early stage in Kundalini arousal, experienced by many...The famous case of Edward Case is known the world over, who in a translike state could contact famous physicians/doctors and prescribe treatments for ANY disease...Ther is a trunkful of recorded evidence to this effect...of which, you must be quite aware of... One can also be presnt in more than one place, often hundreds of miles apart, at the same time... ! In Mumbai he late Swami Nityanand would do this when too many of his followers, all wanting to meet him, ardently, were visiting Vajreshwari...wher he later founded an Ashram...I have been witness to this and hence can vouch for it's veracity... Pervezji,I trust you have also had a few or even many similar experiences in your life... With the very best wishes, L.Y.Rao. GOOD LUCK ! > > Again - we land up with the classic dilemma.
