Dear Ramesh-ji,

namaskar. Rahu is one of the grahas strongly aspecting the 12-th from Karakaamsa hence will be one of the deities who will lead him to Ishta-Devata. In Rasi Chart, 7th lord Sukra is afflicted by Rahu in the 6th house (MKS of Sukra) and must be resolved first in order to lead to harmonious relationship. Hence negativity of Rahu needs to be removed by worshipping Durgaa Mata. Clearly, Chandra in the 5th indicates that native has inherent bhakti for Mother form. Chandra is in Revati Nakshatra indicating Durgaa worship will purify his bhakti and lead to the right path. Notice that AK is in the 12-th house disposited by this afflicted Sukra (retrograde-exaltation gives debility result) and 7th house is afflicted by Paapakartari. This can ruin relationships. Clearly, as HL is

present there with 10th lord Surya, this is of vital importance to the native. One more important point, Rahu is in 5th (trine) to Karakaamsa and hence dominates. Further, 12-th from KK is also 9th from Lagna and hence Rahu's aspect is not good as far as dharma is concerned. So worship of Mother Durgaa is very beneficial at this stage of life.

May Guru Sanjay-ji rectify me on this matter.

Dear Ramesh-ji,

namaskar. The primary problem in this chart is that Sukra is under curse and 7th house is afflicted (karaka is afflicted, lord is afflicted and the house itself has a malefic and is under paapakartaari). The native will suffer likely in job as well as 10th lord is posited in the 7th house. This can bring emotional relationship with a person from job side. This is happening in the 4th from AL and can hamper happiness. This is primary concern and needs to be rectified. Rahu with Sukra in Martian sign in the 6th is not good at all and will bring in wrong kind of association as Rahu is 5th from Navaamsa lagna and indicates emotional relationship as well. So Rahu needs to be eliminated first. Now, AK is also involved in the curse and and AK is in sign of Sukra and Sukra is under affliction of Rahu. Normally if Sukra is in MKS, then the kaaraka of that house is to be strengthened. Here Kaaraka (Sani) is himself involved and weak. So Rahu is primary culprit. Rahu governing the nakshatra of Chandra and is sitting 2nd to it giving argala. This will cause strange emotions also. Now, for Ishtadevata, devata of any of the grahas (preferably the stronger one) aspecting the 12-th from KK is to be worshipped which will invariably lead to the final form. Rahu happens to be Dharma devata and is also aspecting 12-th, so, with given affliction in the natal chart, Rahu (i.e. Durgaa Mata) is a good choice to start. This will relieve his emotional situation and also provide guidance in his spiritual life. Perhaps Durgaa is not the ultimate form of Ishta devata but being Dharma Devataa, he must continue this worship. He should also be careful about being in relationship with elder/married ladies.

The native is in Sukra-Surya dasa (Vimsottari-Chandra Sphuta) and his Ketu-Sani (Moola Dasa) will start after May next year, after which there is Sukra Moola Dasa. To me these are all pointing to disappointments in relationships which can cause upset emotional make-up.

Again, lets wait for Sanjay-ji's further guidance on this matter.

Dear Ramesh-ji,

namaskar. For an affliction to be a curse, the benefic has to conjoin or be aspected by (graha drishti) two or more malefics. Here, Sukra is conjoining Rahu and is aspected by retrograde AK-Sani. So this is a curse. We do not need aspect of Mangal in this. This curse can result in deception and scandal. Being in agni rasi can give quarrels and temper. In my limited understanding, this is the reason that recommendation is given but we should await Sanjay-ji's remarks on this.

Now the above combination can be had

thru at least a million ways. so how

do we re-consider the spirituality content ?

Why is influence of Jupiter and Saturn

The 3rd point you mention, here too more

say, can manifest.

also causes boils , rashes, sores, abortions,

The main houses for spirituality are :

(i) 5th House (Purva Punya),

(ii)9th House (Bhagya Sthana).

(iii) 8th(spiritual inclination) and 12th (meditation) houses also

should be considered

(iv)The Moksha Trikona (houses 4th,8th and 12th houses are very

significant in this respect)

The points to be considered are :

(a)Grahas occupying these houses

(b)Aspecting these houses

©Positions of Lords of these houses

The main Grahas for spirituality are Guru,Shani Maharaj and Ketu

(These have to be studied in depth)

The position of the Chara Atmakaraka in Navamsha (Karakamsha)

provides vital clues to the level of spirituality of the soul

( As taught by one of My Gurus )

The Planet connected to Lagna ( Either the Lagna

Lord or the planet sitting in it ) if-

1) connected with 9th house, and if 9th jouse

connected with 1st House, and also connected with

Jupiter ( Connection means influence of Jupiter

through any ways, aspect, Lordship or whatever ),

indicates that native has faith in religion.

2) If Planet connected to 9th ( Either 9th lord or

planet in it ) , if connected to 4th,8th and 12th,

then one can go for Bhakti Marg.

3) 9th connected with 2,6 or 10th houses then, Karma marg.

4) 9th connected with 3,7, or 11th House, then Gyan Marg.

5) 9th connected with 1,5 or 9th , then Meditation & Mantras.

6) 9th connected with Jupiter, or Mercury, then native will

join any religious institute as preacher,teacher,or Lecturere.

7) 9th connected with venus, then native may play

music for religious charity purpose etc.

8) 9th connected with Venus and saturn,

then native will go for constructions of temple,

church or ashrams etc.

9) If 1st or 9th afflicted with Rahu and Jupiter, then native

may either go for change of religion, or also follow dictums

of another religion.

10) If 9th connected with 5,9,10 and 11 and also

connected with Ketu and Jupiter,,

then Native will become spiritual preacher.

11) If 1st connected with ketu and Saturn, with 9th ,

indicate spiritual progress,, if it is also connected

with 3,9 and 12, then native will become Sanyasi.

12) If 1st connected with ketu and 9th, and also

having good combination of Mars and venus, then native,

would behave like a Sanyaasi at Home.

13) 9th conected with 2,6,10 or 3,7,11 and also connected

with Mars, mercury and Uranus ( Sorry for bringing this in

Vedic Group , please excuse ), then native will criticise religion.

14) If 5th or 11th connected with 5,10 and 11th, and also

connected with Saturn,Jupiter and ketu, then native will get

some Siddhi.

15) 5th connected with 5,10 and 11, with Saturn, then

Mantra siddhi.

16) If 5th connected with Rahu, then native would be interested

in Tantra Pooja.

17) If 5th is afflicted or connected with barren sign, then native

will not get positive results.

18) Moon and saturn combination give faith in religion.

19) If Jupiter and Moon both are afflicted, then

native must not take to Tantra.

20) Worship- If 5th connected to -

Sun - Surya Pooja or Gayatri Mantra.

Moon - Devi Pooja or Kuldevi Pooja.

Mars - Ganesh or Kartikeya Pooja

Mercury - Vishnu Pooja

Jupiter - Brahma or Dattatreya

Venus - Devi Pooja or Lakshmi Pooja

Saturn - Hanuman Pooja.

Rahu - Naag Pooja or Shankar Pooja.

Ketu - Shankar Pooja.

The above is not exhaustive, but hope

would help some of the readers. Now Moon

if 12th Lord and sitting in 4th would naturally create

detachment while Saturn also in 4th or influencing

it would create detachment. The 12th lord connected

to any House, would play the role of denial in ost

of the cases if not all, in producing

the desired results of that house. In most

of the Vairaagis or Sanyaasis, the 4th house of

domestic Bliss, has to give away, or pave way for the native

to look at other places for comfort zones , as the Home

does not provide so, because it is but

natural, that if the Home had provided

all the pleasures, then why would

he have left his House. But of course not in all

cases. Like Lord Buddha had all the pleasures of the

palace as pronce Yashodhana ( I hope I remember the

name right ), and same with King Yayati, or

Janakji. Here barring Lord buddha the other two

were of this world and yet detached after a

certain point of time. Again Raja yayati realised

late the futility of pleasures,

while King janak was a true case of Grishasta

Sanyaasi or if you do not like that word for him, then

you may call him Grihasta bairaagi.

Thanks for the appreciation. All due to

the Gurus I have the good opportunity to

mingle with .

My scales of being a normal astrologer

too are very high, and I recah nowhere near

them. I have some bad habits like

impulsiveness anger and abusive

language when provoked,and so many

other matters where I need change. God

knows, but I know this much that i do not

touch even from distance , to the

tenets mentioned in the classics, for what

a astrologer must be.

yes but God is with me, in astrology.

I get scared nowadays when posting mails,

because i know i write long. But dont

know how to mention all what i want to,

in short.

Dear Monica,

Yes I agree.

There are 3 offshoots of the bark.

1) Knowledge of something as good or bad.

2) Acceptance of this knowledge as the truth.

3) Acting in accordance with the required

line of action, after this knowledge derived

For instance,

We all know that meditation is good.

I personally accept it as good.

But do I do it in my regular Life ?

Thus, knowing, accepting and acting,

are 3 seperate matters.

Another example.

All cigarette smokers know that Smoking

causes Cancer.

They accept it.

But do all leave it ?

So Monica I know anger, is bad, all of us here

know how bad anger is, so we better not talk about

its disadvantages , but show techniques how to

curb it. That also, only if you are practising

the same.

anybody,

and I dont even know you.

But I am not even looking for solutions

from anybody who has not

realised ( Not that I know of ).

but all the same thank You.

Anger is one of the most ordinary bad

traits among people, and does not need

any discussion or any lecture

about the dos and donts.It is also one

of the hardest to control,

after Lust. So who are we to advice anybody ?

Unless we are known as REALISED.

Now what I did in my mail, was just

noting down my bad habits, because the

writer had called me the best. To break'the

EGO, before it comes in, I wrote what I did.

We need to do it once in a while as

astrologers,if our feet has to be firmly

planted on the ground. If the person who

has praised me, does not know about my

deficiencies, it is my duty to

point it out to him/her, before his/her

praise gets on my head, and I go

into a false self exhilirating utopian

fantasy world and sit atop on a self

made seat of a Guru.

The Realised would realise it, what I

realised and wrote.

Period.

confidence in astrology and about me,

that afflicted Mars could be influencing

You also seem to be from calcutta.

Dear Sheevaniji,

You make me emotional with that mail.

I have had the good fortune to learn with many Gurus,

and 2 among them were so good and generous, who

never kept back any secrets,that if given an opportunity

i would not mind washing their feet with water

and drinking the water ( may sound repulsive as a

modern educated , but as a humble indian

shishya- student I am ever ready).Those were my

idols and I learnt actual astrology from them and

benefitted, so now its my turn to give back all, to

those who crave for the same. This is the " pratha "

prevealent in India just like the " Katha " which

must be shared and spoken to the

younger generations, so, that the Kathakaar,

Vachak and the Shrota ( Writer-Speaker

and the Listener) are all blessed.

A person who shares the bounties which he has,

is given back by nature in multifolds, today

or tomorrow, there is no iota of doubt about

that, which I have experienced in astrology

field too.

Dear Babu,

Jai Shri Krishna.

I remember when I started astrology, I had many

bad habits , but as I continued with my studies,

they kept on shedding off, slowly and gradually,

and I am proud to say only a few remain, and

whenever these surface , it leaves me with shame

and repentance, because they bring along the knowledge

that I am a astrologer and must behave like one.

I am sure in time to come with the Lords Grace,

even these few would leave me. This is the

power of the study of a Divine science which makes

a human being more Divine then what he is,

and if he does his job honestly then some day

perfect enough to be worthy of meeting the

Perfect Divine, Godhead.

I share with you,the pain of Your sister leaving

You. remember that No one is gone completely.

Of the Saptakosh, only one Kosha is gone.

Just the body is gone. And its just a matter of time

for us to join our beloved ones. Just 10-20

years here or there, evryone has to go one by

one. If you have not read the " Autobiography

of a Yogi " please read it, or if you have

done then re-read it. It gives a lot of peace.

Its there on the Links section in this group.

YTou must also reda the " Garuda Purana " available

from any Gita press shop. It gives details about

what happens to a soul after leaving its body, and what

are the duties of those remaining behind.

Dear Babu,

Also get a path done of SrimadBhagavat Purana,

Youmay ask in Your circle about who does it

and then invite relatives to attend this

path for 7 days, and it does have a benefic

effect on the soul who has passed away.

In case you cannot get it done in UK,

then buy the Bhagavat purana yourself,and

start reciting it daily 1-4 Chapters a little

aloud in your room . before you start this

path you must tell God " Hey Bhagwaan Main

apni bahen ki shaanti ke liye yeh paath padh

raha hoon . Aap kripya karega " ( Translated

Oh Lord I am reciting this for the peace of

my sisyters soul. Please bless her and us.)

By the way my wife is reading this daily for

1 hour or so and whenever I get the time i

sit with her and she reads aloud, and we discuss

on the beautiful stories on God. She does this

daily 1 hour before her favourite programme starts

on TV. so the time is fixed but variable of course.

Right now she is away, to her parents place,

and I am missing both her

and the beautiful glories of God. Wehave

decided to read in tun one by one all the

Puranas, including the Ramayana so that at

least one hour is spent insatsanga and sitting

together in these fast paced times.
