Guest guest
Dear Mrs.Wendy, Yes I was referring to that only. My lessons are all completed too about 10 years ago, but to put them in practise, has yet to begin. Guest guest
Dear Ravindramaniji, Ha.Ha. You make me sound like a wizard. I am just a follower of Rama, Krishna and Shankar Bhagwaan. Predominantly a Bhakta of Krishna. And not into any other methods. Sometimes when you are doing something, some thought enters your mind automatically, if one is fully involved in the same, and at other times if one concentrates on a particular tathya ( matter ), then too thoughts begin to flow for few moments and then cease. If one picks up these flowing thoughts then he can learn to improve his intitions, which normally guide a astrologer always. Just 2 weeks back, me and my wife were travelling in a crowded bus in Bombay, and we were standing as no seat was available. I just concentrated and told her exactly which 3 seats would become empty within next few minutes, and we would be able to sit there. This has happened hundreds of times before with me, and has shocked many people with my revelations, and guidance has come while making and studying charts. Anyone can do this with practise. Just have to kep the heart clean from any type of base feelings towards anybody. If one fights with another, then make up before going to sleep, and get up clean next morning. Try to avoid talking bad about others, relatives, contacts, circles etc. Having helpful attitude towards others. These are very much general things, but if implemented pronouncedly in Life, then the person can develop some qualities out of the ordinary. sorry for the long mail. You know my habit. I cant stop once I start. kind regards, Bhaskar. jyotish-vidya , " Ravindramani CS " <ravindramani wrote: > > Dear Bhaskar, > > How do you manage to know these things? through the charts or employing any > special methods..... > > Just curious to know:- )) > > Regards, C.S. Guest guest
I forgot the most important point, which can help students and others. Mansik japa is what I follow during the day even while crossing the road, having bath, and whatever. Once a few years back, I was attending a Jyotish class at Bhartiya Vidya Bhuvan, and had done speedy Japa for 3-4 hours continously . and as soon as the lecture started, whatever the Professor was saying came to my mind, before he started his senetence. That was realy scary for me. But a good experience of the power of concentrated dhyan sahit Japa. regards, bhaskar. jyotish-vidya , " Bhaskar " <bhaskar_jyotish wrote: > > Dear Ravindramaniji, > > Ha.Ha. > You make me sound like a wizard. Guest guest
Dear Bhaskar, Thanks. As a matter of habit, early in the morning, I read a paragraph from any book which I am able to lay my hand, today, I read the following. " Compare the present with the times when primitive men walked on the face of the earth and lived like animals. Man then did not know the music of the stars and the beauty of the moon, nor any of the wonderful things that he has since discovered. We have learned much, but we are still picking up pebbles on the vast seashore of life. We are living like the chick encased in an eggshell. We do not know what is beyond. As the chick hatches out of the shell, so, by right methods, you can hatch yourself out of this physical shell and look into the bowl of space; then you will know that space is alive with other living beings " . I was wondering, what could be the different thoughts possibly in the mind of the author at the time of writing the words " music of the stars " . Was he thinking something related to astrology too? Or he wants to convey something else to the students. I don't know. The author was Sri Paramahansa Yogananda. Immediately after that, I read your thread Yogada, in the Group and decided to mention this to you. Regards, C.S. Ravindramani PS: 1. Generally I use " ji " and " Mr " when I wish to convey something formal. I took the privilege to address you simply " Bhaskar " . I would be grateful if you could cut this " ji " after my name. 2. Incidentally, I would like to mention, I enrolled myself for SRF Lessons in 1992 and I read them regularly for sometime.
Guest guest
Hi I too enrolled for SRF and read the first few lessons, after which I lost track.!! Should make a re-start sometime. Meet the head swami or someone similar in their Ranchi ashram and have been thinking of him on and off. May be I should meet them again. Guest guest
Dear Ravindramaniji, It seems that some message has been intended to be passed to us, from my query initially, Myself, and to all those who participated in this thread. It was a coincidence not known to us that we few members have been all connected to a particular community at some point of our Lives, and work remains unfinished from our side. Perhaps this has been what has been put across to us. We have to return to our lessons with passion and seriously implement these in our Lives. I am happy that you became informal while addressing me, which means you find me good enough to become affectionate towards me. I am blessed. In my case its very difficult for me to change the address mode, though i find you very much good enough,as a person and astrologer, because this way of addressing has become second nature with me, and if you are elder to me (?) then it would not be good in my eyes and view. regards, Bhaskar. jyotish-vidya , " ravindramani " <ravindramani wrote: > > Dear Bhaskar, > > Thanks. > > As a matter of habit, early in the morning, I read a paragraph from > any book which I am able to lay my hand, today, I read the following. > > " Compare the present with the times when primitive men walked on the > face of the earth and lived like animals. Guest guest
Dear Bhaskar ji, I have a similar problem. After writing e-mails in MNC corporate world for years and always addressed people by their first name irrespective of their level in the organization, I find it is strange if someone addresses me with a 'ji'. I prefer to be addressed as Krishna. Also, I forget add ji sometimes when I write mails as I am not used to it. Please bear with me. Guest guest
Dear Krishnaji, But I am still from the old mould. Yes I understand this predicament. I have to undergo it many times. It is normal to address anyone with first name today and is not considered disrespectful. In Bombay we are into this shift of mode several times a week. I remember 10-12 years ago, I had done a course on Landmark Forum, under a good speaker known as Ferdie. There the audience all 300 of them including me, were addressing each other by first name only. For me it was the start of a embarassing situation for the first time in Life, that time for was not accustomed to addressing elders by age or by status, by their first names. Their calling me so did not bother me, and neither your calling me so makes any difference at all , for now several years have passed since that experience and been through this a thousand times. To becalled as " Bhaskar " is not a problem for me, but not to add a ji, to the person with whom I communicate, makes me uncomfortable. Just recently 2 weeks ago, at the Moderators meet, I was feeling pretty disturbed to address the Community manager, a young lady, Shefali, whom every one addressed as 'Shefali', but I could not come to those terms and still address her as " Shefaliji " . She being a lady, and an important Head of a big Company like , there was no way i could bring myself to address her by first name, even though the atmosphere was party atmosphere. In the Marwadi circles we move, at most of the homes, they addtress the servants also as " aap " and " ji " . I cannot enter this transition, as it will spoil my vocabulary at wrong places due to force of habit, which would be developed, if i start doing this. Hence you may please address me as Bhaskar with Love, but for me I do not know when I would be comfortable with this, from my side. Though you may find me sometimes doing so, when i address many natives much younger, or with kiddish queries, or when these younger ones act affectionately. regards, Bhaskar. jyotish-vidya , Krishnamurthy Seetharama <krishna_1998 wrote: > > Dear Bhaskar ji, > > I have a similar problem.
