Guest guest
Dear Kumar, The following, taken from an (older) article in Hinduism Today by Sri Chakrapani Ullal, expresses quite clearly what I've been saying on these groups for many years. I put this forward as, more often than not, my words are more readily accepted when supported by someone else... I also don't have a lot of time to spare at the moment to go into much more detail than this...perhaps we can discuss it more after the weekend. Excerpt from article: (http://www.hinduismtoday.com/archives/1996/2/1996-2-14.shtml) *Fortunately, Ketu is in the nakshatra of Mercury; in turn Mercury is well-placed in Aquarius and occupies the Jupiter nakshatra. Therefore, Ketu is not in a hurry to throw its poison into the atmosphere.* There is a reference to the significance of the planets transit through nakshatras in reference to (nakshatra) star lords in Phala-deepika... From http://www.maharishiyagya.org/jyotish/nakshatras.html *The Sanskrit word Nakshatra means " that which does not decay. " The 27 Nakshatras represent consciousness and each Nakshatra represents a particular quality of consciousness. The Nakshatras permeate the whole universe and influence the quality of the Rashi in which they are positioned. In the same way the quality of the Graha depends to some extent on the Nakshatra in which it is positioned.* Best Wishes, Mrs. Wendy http://JyotishVidya.com ___ - " Kumar Arumugam " <kumar58 <jyotish-vidya > Saturday, April 12, 2008 10:37 AM Re: Friend's chart Dear Wendy, Can you discuss the significance of Nakshatra Lord in analyzing a chart? Thanks Kumar
