Cousin sister's lung problem

Wendy ji,

Thanks for drawing my attention to the sookshmantar of

Sani in my chart rotated to see my uncle's health.

BTW, I heard from my mom that my cousin sister has

some small problem with one of her lungs. Nothing

serious--just a small benign tumor, which the doctors

say is not malign, and which can be cured with just

medicines, without any surgery.

The irony is that, from my chart, the Lagna is the

SAME as my uncle's--my cousin is my mother's younger

sister's second child, so the Lagna is the 12th from

my own!

All this has made me depressed--only natural, since PD

natha Chandra, though transiting the 5th from Lagna,

is in the 12th from AD natha Guru... :-(

Ah, well! Like all else, this too will pass! And as

you have pointed out to me many times, everything is

exactly as it's supposed to be, neither more nor less!

This is karma!

This reminds me of a discussion I had with an

influential senior friend sometime in 2003. I was

jobless, and I kept pestering my friend for a job. One

day, he told me, " Balaji, I feel so bad because a good

person like you is unemployed, and there is nothing I

can do, even with my vast contacts! "

And then I told him, " Today, my best friends cannot

help me. One day, my worst enemies will be incapable

of hurting me! "

As the Hitopadesa says, that which is protected by

fate survives, though unguarded, while that which is

smitten by destiny will be destroyed even if well

protected from all sides!

Wendy ji,

Happy Easter!

Sorry I didn't wish you earlier--but I have not been

myself recently! :-(

It will pass :-)))

Yes, Wendy ji! My uncle had a bypass on Saturday--he

is now fine and recovering by God's grace.

Dear Balaji,

//Sorry I didn't wish you earlier--//

That's alright - nothing to worry about at all :-)

//but I have not been myself recently! :-(//

A bit of an emotional roller coaster can be expected during P/D of Moon as

transit Moon moves so quickly through the horoscope...ups and downs, highs

and lows. And, although lord of 9th, the effect of Sade Sati will certainly

influence your emotions.

Best Wishes,

Mrs. Wendy

Wendy ji,

I hope that your arm is healing fine, Wendy ji!

///A bit of an emotional roller coaster can be

expected during P/D of Moon///

I once told a female friend of mine, " you are like the

moon! " She took it as a compliment--what I meant was

that her mind was forever unsteady, because she never

could decide what to do. Ask her if you should watch

" 300 " or Ghost Rider, " and she would be unable to make

up her mind! :-)

Well, I'm going through something similar myself!

Krishnamurthy ji,

///I don't know if I am absolutely correct, but I feel

that most things could be explained through

Vimshottari without having a need to look at

transits.///

Based upon my own little knowledge, I have found that

transits--especially of MD, AD and PD lords--is quite

important.

For instance, in Wendy ji's case, she is running Bu -

Gu - Sa [March-25-2007 to August-03-2007]

Right now, MD lord Budha is neecha, and AD lord Guru

and PD lord Sani are transiting the stars of Budha.

As Wendy ji usually says, Surya shows the month, and

Chandra the day.

On 9th April, 2007, Surya was in the 3rd house in the

star of Budha, while Chandra was conjunct Guru in the

11th in the star of Budha.

Note also that Budha's neechatva in the 3rd house

[arms] as the lord of the 9th and the 6th in the

context of the fact that medicines are ruled by the

9th house.

Of course, Vimshottari, by itself indicates that,

since Sani is in the 6th as the roga karaka aspecting

the 3rd, there is a possibility of surgery--especially

since Sani is in the star of Kuja, who rules surgery.

Dear Balaji,

Thanks for the detailed notes. I don't have any doubts about

transits indicating the events.

//Of course, Vimshottari, by itself indicates that,...//

Exactly! that is the point I was trying to make.

Krishna

Dear Balaji,

//I hope that your arm is healing fine, Wendy ji!//

Thank you, I'm sure it will :-)

It's fortunate that my Dr. opted to cut it out and send to pathology rather

than freeze it off (which I'd asked him to) as it turned out to be

cancerous...a well differentiated squamous cell carcinoma.

//On 9th April, 2007, Surya was in the 3rd house in the

11th in the star of Budha.//

It was actually Mon 2nd Apr that it was excised. A little late now for me to

check transits etc for that day...

Best Wishes,

Mrs. Wendy

Dear Krishna and Balaji,

Just very quickly before I switch off and get some rest...

This is it in a nutshell. What we see is that transits act as the catalyst

for events indicated in Vimsottari...
