Tippu's chart

Dear Wendy,

If I may intervene, different historians have put different

birth years for Tippu Sultan ranging from 1749 to 1753.

Wikipidia gives the date as Nov. 20, 1750. B.V Raman uses Dec.

1, 1751 and so on. B.V Raman also puts a tag (N.S.) for the date

indicating he is Not Sure about the correctness of the date.

Hence, it may not be a good idea to depend on this particular

chart unless Vishwanath can claim his source to be very

authentic.

Regards,

Krishna

Dear all

In the chart of Tipu there are 4-5 planets in one house. In the chart of Osho

Rajneesh there are 4 or 5 planets in one house. But in the chart of many

saints, there are no 4 or 5 planets in one house, still they became saint.

Please take the planetary position of Feb 1962.(I do not remember the date).

Sun, Mars, Mer, Venu, Sat, Jup were in Capricorn. I know atleast two persons,

who are not saints, but are merely working in office / factory, etc.

It is too general to say about the rule. In BPHS and Saravali the rule of 4

planets is being said, but when I checked many charts, the rule does not tally.

In Vedic astrology this is the case.

In BPHS maharaja yogam (MY) is being mentioned. In the chart of Akbar the

Great and Atal Behari Vajpaee MY is seen.

But when I checked all the 43 US Presidents right from George Washington to

George Bush, the rule does not tally. But in some cases it is correct.

Hence Vedic astrology rules some times miserably fails.

Dear All,

Before accepting or rejecting anything, we have to validate it

properly with as many charts as possible. The dictum says these

4 planets should be in strength. We can not ignore this. We

chave to check if all the 4 planets in a house are in strength

or not before coming to a conclusion.

Krishna

Dear friends,

Dear List,

Cast the following data.

Male

Feb 05 1962

01:05 AM

New Delhi.

Male

Feb 06 1962

07:38 AM

New Delhi

Female

Feb 06 1962

18:43 hours 6:43 PM

Kanchipuram

They are not saints nor do they show too much inclination towards

spirituality or their religion. They are ordinary human beings like

you and me. Those who are interested to go through the charts do so

and see/guess what could be their profession.

One such a chart ( a person born on 5th Feb, 1962 is a doctor in a

well known hospital in Delhi) was discussed in earlier Jyotish Vidya,

I myself posted that chart in the list at that time, unfortunately

that data I lost – Mrs Wendy may have in her data base – the

discussion took place between me, Chandrasekhar.

More conditions are attached with Sanyasa Yogas. The conditions are

not in one place of BPHS; or not given by Varahamihira in one place.

They have to be clubbed together. You have to read between those

lines very carefully. The participating planets should not be

combust, and no planet should be defeated in a planetary war, by one

another. It is simply not that a person is having four or 5 planets

in a house and he is going to take sanyasa or becoming a greatman.

All the planets (at the least) 4 of them should have enough

strength. The tenth lord should have enough strength and the

combination should take place in a Benefic House. The Navamsa and

Drekanna play an important role in this. Mars, Saturn and Moon have

a greater say in this sanyasa yogas. One should not overlook the

general principles of astrology and concentrating only on the

combination taking place in one single house.

One more condition is that they should happen in a Kendra or a Kona,

a benefic house. In Acharya Rajneesh's chart, the combination was in

8th house of intrigues and uncertainties. That is described as Yoga

Brashta.

See even in the known charts of living sanyasis. One may find the

combination is not intact what is said in BPHS or as per

Varahamihira. It is very difficult to get a chart as per those

rules described in the classics. There are other combinations leads

them to take the life of sanyasa and some of them fall from their

position too in one time or the other in their ascetic life. One

factor which I observe is that 5th lord in 8th house or the

connection with 8th.

Regards, C.S. Ravindramani

PS: I am not against any Saints or Sanyasis.

Dear Ravindramani,

Thanks for sharing these charts. Let me analyse one by one:

1.

> Male

> Feb 05 1962

> 01:05 AM

> New Delhi.

Moon, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus and Saturn all five planets are

combust and Sun is eclipsed by Ketu. No need to cehck further on

the strength of planets. Hence, no question of sanyasa yoga

becoming applicable to this case.

2.

> Male

> Feb 06 1962

> 07:38 AM

> New Delhi

Mercury, Jupiter, venus and Saturn are combust and Sun is

eclipsed by Ketu. No need to check further. Sanyasi Yoga is not

applicable to this case as well.

3.

> Female

>

> Feb 06 1962

> 18:43 hours 6:43 PM

> Kanchipuram

Mercury, Jupiter, Venus and Saturn are combust and Sun is

eclipsed by Ketu. Same as above case.

It is evident that it is not sufficient to see the number of

planets in a house and come to any conclusion.

Krishna

Dear Vishwantah,

What I have understood is when Ketu, Venus and Saturn in trines

to each other, the person wil become spiritual. Though such a

combination exists in all the three cases cited, both Venus and

Saturn are combust and hence becomes ineffective.

What I understand is that Ketu alone can not make a person a

Sanyasi. There should be other factors contributing.

Please do correct me if I am wrong.

Dear Krisha ji

I agree that Ketu cannot alone make one a sanyasi. But Venus-Saturn combust

does not make one's sanyasin pursuits ineffective.

Dear Vishwanath ji,

I am not sure what is the basis for your statement. On the

contrary, Varahamihira and Parashara both think otherwise.

1. Varahamihira - (Ch. 15 Sh. 2)

If powerful pravrajya yoga causing planets are combust with the

Sun then the person born will not take up sanyasa

2. Parashara - (Ch 79. Sh. 4)

If strong Grahas, capable of leading to ascetism, be obscure by

Surya’s rays (that is they be combust), the person born, in

spite of having reverence for the holy order, will not become

initiated in that holy order.

Regards,

Krishna

Dear Ravindramani,

You Wrote:

8th house of intrigues and uncertainties. That is described as Yoga

Brashta.///

I Wrote:

///For this yoga to come to fruition, I would expect, the conjunction to

I think we were in the process of writing (the above) thoughts at the same

time.

I myself posted that chart in the list at that time, unfortunately

that data I lost - Mrs Wendy may have in her data base - the

discussion took place between me, Chandrasekhar.///

Unfortunately I too have lost a lot of data. I did manage to save some old

mails from 2004 but I think that was after Chandrasekhar left the group.

Best Wishes,

Mrs. Wendy
