Guest guest
Dear Viji, You asked certain questions and my response to them is as follows: 1. Could you point out any signification which is favourite or good involving 5th and 8th? That is to say, 5th lord in 8th. 5th Lord in 8th is good for research purposes. 5th is the house of learning and intelligence. 8th house is the house of secrets and mysteries. 5th house is the 10th house of activities from 8th. Research is an activity or learning about the secrets and mysteries (Knowing the things, which are hidden from the ordinary view or perception); the nature of planet so located in the 8th determines the subject of research. 2. Why should Rahu's placement in 8th show unnatural death? As per Jatak Parijata, Rahu is known as " AHI " and " RAJJU'. " Ahi " means snake or serpent. " Rajju " means a " rope " and in addition to that, it means " hanging " in Sanskrit. Rahu represents poison. 8th house stands for mode of death. The nature of a snake is that it hangs from trees in natural habitat. There are some other hidden meanings intended by the sages as these words represent number of other meanings (When you consider the spiritual side of Rahu). A person intends to commit suicide, in desperation, more commonly opts either of these ways i.e. hanging himself by a rope or herself or consuming poison. Parashara instructs us to see the 8th for mode of death. The influence of benefic planets indicates peaceful/natural death and the reverse happens in case of malefic influence over that house. 3. You have spoken about the connectivity of the dasha between Mars and Rahu. Is that particular to them or for other dashas also? It applies to all dashas in general. The opening balance of dasha determines the entire course of action to be taken place in a chart as promised by the planets. The opening dasha itself say whether your chart cast is correctly or not in certain cases. All dashas are invariably interconnected. One should take into consideration the past dasha and the present one for venturing into the future. It is worth noting to see the order of dashas owned by the planets starting from Ketu, a natural malefic, Venus, and a natural benefic, Sun, again, a natural malefic, Moon, a conditional benefic, Mars, again a natural malefic, Rahu, immediately again a natural malefic, followed by the Jupiter, a natural benefic, Saturn a natural malefic and finally the Mercury, a conditional benefic. There should be an intended meaning behind this order by the sage, as that of allotment of years to them. It is because of the 25 years, at a stretch, ruled by the two natural malefic and if both the planets are not fortified favourably, it would be a toughest period, since the period comprises approximately 1/3 of a person's longevity. We are aware, the good or bad, favourable dasha or unfavorable dasha, are all relative terms. A person may not consider a particular " experience of human life " is favourable for him. But the same could be treated as favourable by another person. It all depends, from person to person, as to who the native is; ultimately it depends where exactly he is standing, in the stages of evolution or in the path of " Realization " . Regards, C.S. Ravindramani PS: Do not treat anything which I said in my posts as gospels of truth. Always use your commonsense with the instructions of the sages. Dear Ravindramani, I have some questions. You may respond whenever you find time at your convenience. The questions are based on the recent discussions took place in the group. 1.
