Guest guest
Hello Amit ji, Mars has always intrigued astrologers! Labelled unquestionably, unambiguously as a malefic par none, angry to the core and aggressive, the overseer of butchers and surgeons and soldiers, undeniably capable of causing much destruction and damage and injuries and pain ... Few will disagree, at least those who have read classics and abide by those, most if not all times! And yet, this bhumiputra, Bhaum has been called for I do not even know how long (any astro-historians around??) MANGAL! And this is not the 'Mangle' that in english means dismemberment, wartime traumas, much cruelty, but Mangal as in Shubha, peaceful even and benefic for sure and just brings to the discerning and non- judgmental soul an image of peace and quiet! VERY different, I would say the OPPOSITE of what the classics and modern teachings and articles would seem to portray and many jyotishis, young and old will tend to believe. I am not here to rock any boat or ship that is still in the port or already sailing! But it is strange, and antithetical in a sense. The remedy for an afflicted Mars has often been worship of Hanumaan ji and wearing of the coral! Perhaps therein lies the solution of the puzzle of Mars, the mangal graha! I will now shut up and do what I do best -- be a wallflower... Guest guest
Haha Hello Ranjanji, Nope your words are quite meaningful which Ive figured out from our past dicussions simply because I sense a complete un-baised approach and an attitude of dicussion and learning. Your posts are pretty informative and most importantly the words are selectively chosen so as to not offend anyone. A quality which I admire much especially in a field such as astrology. Coming to mars, yes I suppose its an intruging planet, with various treaties presenting various ideas and thoughts about it. Some claim that being in an upachaya house such as 6th is good and some claim vice versa. Based on my personal experiences of my own chart I am an aries acendent with my mars in 6th with saturn and its debiliated in d9 in the 10th house. But so far I have only seen good happen in mars antra for me, life ran relatively well (inspite of some astrologers claiming mars to be weak in my chart) I have experienced results contrary. My issues have been more with rahu ketu which are in 4-10 axis. This has to do with my career and peace of mind. I have come to believe that when malefics being weak are placed in dustanans they some how do good. Perhaps if there is an exhalted malefic in dustana it does good as well but in a different way as compared to a weak malefic in dustana. They both cause ill issues as well irrespective of their strength. I will ellaborate more and specifically on what Ive observed ..for the moment gotta jet nothing is made at home for food just got back from work and folks are away on vacation. I think outside where Im headed keep safe and enjoy the day there Amit vedic astrology , " Rohiniranjan " <rohini_ranjan wrote: > > Hello Amit ji, > > Mars has always intrigued astrologers! Guest guest
Dear Amit ji, Thank you for your ebbulient response which was thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated. Specifically focusing on this part of your message quoted verbatim below: ******************* > Based on my personal experiences of my own chart I am an aries > acendent with my mars in 6th with saturn and its debiliated in d9 in > the 10th house. But so far I have only seen good happen in mars antra > for me, life ran relatively well (inspite of some astrologers claiming > mars to be weak in my chart) I have experienced results contrary. ******************* Some of us have been blessed in a sense that they were admonished early on during their quest to not put too much emphasis on their own chart during their learning. Others (even very wise astrologers/authors) received directions, otherwise! Even as you described your chart, another chart that popped into my mind was of one who was born with cancer lagna rising with moon in sagittarius. Situation was kind of similar to yours, though the planet involved is very different. And other indicators too and the age and stage in the lifeplan, obviously... That is all we have to go by, more details cannot be provided. He has had problems keeping work (not finding!) and is simply put, LAZY and has a CHARMED life and very strong physique! I know there could be other factors and combinations which would explain all that, but the lagnesha in sixth house 'angle' was interesting :-) RR vedic astrology , " planck12 " <planck12 wrote: > > Haha Hello Ranjanji, > Nope your words are quite meaningful which Ive figured out from our > past dicussions simply because I sense a complete un-baised approach > and an attitude of dicussion and learning. Guest guest
Dear Ranjanji, Thanks for sharing the other chart. Some personal expriences. I do tend to be lazy at times, but when I look at it, it seems its a normal part of me growing up. So perhaps 6th lagnesh gives that, in terms of keeping a job, I am having career difficulties at this stage in my life, not so much because I cannot keep a job, but I dont find satisfaction with my job. The reason being, I am a chemical engineer who is working in the electrical field in the mining side of things. Where as I want to work in the chemical field in the oil and gas side of things. Atleast thats one factor. I sense this to be due to my ketu in 10th. The mars in 6th in virgo has given me the chem education There is one important thing I wish to mention with my lagnesh mars in 6th perhaps it might not have been the case with moon in saggi since moon is a soft planet as compared to mars. I have always led a very compettive life, infact my competitive attitude takes over any laziness and I always rise to the occassion to prove my point and perhaps justify my stand in life. The only reason I have not given up in the face of adversities is because of the placement of mars in 6th. I am not sure if there is anything else that justified that challanging outlook that Ive felt. As I see it, problems arise in everyones life, and what matters is not that why the problems have arisen in the first place, but the termperment we take to tackle them, solve them, resolve them and if that dosen't happen accept them positively. They say a pessimist sees a half cup as half empty and and optimist sees it as half full, Its the same cup, a matter of persepetive, I see it like the latter which gives me avenues and options to think about.... So I fail to see how the lagna lord gets weak when a person rises to the occassion to challange a problem.... regards Amit vedic astrology , " Rohiniranjan " <rohini_ranjan wrote: > > Dear Amit ji, > > Thank you for your ebbulient response which was thoroughly enjoyed > and appreciated. > > Specifically focusing on this part of your message quoted verbatim > below: > > ******************* > > Based on my personal experiences of my own chart I am an aries > > acendent with my mars in 6th with saturn and its debiliated in d9 in > > the 10th house. Guest guest
Dear Rafalji, I must disagree with the notion that says malefics in 6th only causes problems. I wish to tackle that particular topic with the following chart and article of Phil Jackson the basketball coach who has been quite successful in his career and over come many challanges and adversities. http://www.lightonVedic Astrology.com/dailyjyotish-021307.htm The chart has 3 malefics in 6th house including the lagna lord and the history of this person is in open. No doubt that he has faced challanges and adversities but the malefics have given him the ability to over come these challanges. Please have a look and the read on the informative article. I could post a few other charts where only malefics tenent the 6th house but the natives have come out to be on the winning edge two of the people I know have been good in medicine (6th for medcine) one in sports and the other one is in engineering .... regards Amit vedic astrology , Rafal Gendarz <starsuponme wrote: > > ivnaykay > Dear Amit , Namaskar > ------ > You should always understand (1) general statements and the (2) final > statement.
