In any case No jyotishi is perfect and Jyotish is never to be taken fatalistically. I would not wait to see any spiritual combinations in my chart, but move ahead if I wish to be spiritual. Who knows tomorrow when I meet God, he may say that your birth was few seconds before than your recorded time, and that makes your chart very much spiritual. So its good that you did not wait to see spiritual combinations in Your chart, but kept moving ahead. Sheevaniji for me it has always been- 1) faith in oneself, ones Karma. 2) faith in God I worship. 3) faith in Jyotish ( Astrology ). In that order. regards, bhaskar. jyotish-vidya , " sheevani147 " <sheevani147 wrote: > > > Dear Bhaskarji, > > Namaste. > > Thank you once again for yet another detail systemic analysis for > ablity to become a jyotish.. > > According to your checklist, there is still hope for me in this field > of knowledge.. > > warmest regards > Sheevani > > > jyotish-vidya , " Bhaskar " <bhaskar_jyotish@> > wrote: > > > > Indicators to be a Jyotishi - > > > > Mercury, Saturn and Jupiter are the > > key planets in the making of a good or bad > > astrologer. > > > > Ascendant and 9th house connected with Saturn > > and Mars will make one a good astrologer. > > Saturn and Moon in House 1,3,9 or 10 will give > > desire to learn astrology. > > Mercury forming good aspects with Moon will a > > astrologer good intuition > > and ability to word his predictions impressively. > > Mercury and saturn forming good aspects > > will willl make the astrologer methodical, analtyical > > and reasoning abilty. > > Moon in cancer will make a native a good astrologer. > > One with Moon in satabisha Nakshatra can also learn > > astrology. > > > > Mercury in 1,2,3,4,5,7,9,11, and venus and mercury in > > 2nd and 3rd can make a person a good astrologer. > > Gemini Lagna with Jupiter in 2nd or 2nd lord being > > strong can also make an native a good astrologer. > > > > If Mercury is in lagna or 4 or 7 or 10th,or Lord of > > 2nd is exalted or if venus is in gemini or > > Virgo or Sagittarius or in Exalted position , then too > > the native will become an astrologer. > > > > I have not taken the 5th and 8th houses in > > consideration, and neither is this List exhaustive. > > But one can use discretion , for > > example if Jupiter in 8th and aspecting the 2nd > > house which is its own sign, does make the 2nd > > house strong.
