It's common to find them in the same house. Even though Mercury is debilitated, it has a very positive influence from Venus. Dan
Guest guest
Dan, All: Consider neech bhanga in this regard? If Venus and Mercury are in pisces is this not already a neech bhanga for mercury? - Vic On Oct 6, 2008, at 6:28 AM, dan_nelson123 wrote: > >> I have observed that about 50% of the time venus is exalted in >> Pisces, >> Mercury is also there debilitated. Guest guest
No dosha is nullified completely. Once the planet is Neecha, it is Neecha. Neech Bhanga does not completely wipe out the stigma attached to that planet. The " Neechatha " would definitely reflect in the chart ( in the native ) as per the other forces are in operation. I have broken my leg. The leg has been plastered. Even after 7 seven years it is paining at times. I cant run. I cant jog as I was doing before the accident took place. I can walk as usual but not run or jog. The original leg is original. The plastered one is plastered. Regards, C.S. Guest guest
Hi, I tend to agree with Ravindramani. Neechbhanga gives some strength to the neecha planet but it does not make it flawless. Also, the combination of Mercury and Venus can cause Uchbhanga for Venus. So while Mercury's strength is increased that of Venus decreases. Guest guest
Neena, Can you explain Uchbhanga further? Guest guest
Neena, I don't see have Mercury can cause Uccha Bhanga for Venus if (a) Uccha Banga is a negative competitive aspect between two exalted planets, and (b) Mercury is not exalted but debilitated. Please explain. Yours, Vic DiCara / Vraja Kishor http://www.vedicastrologer.net On Oct 6, 2008, at 10:09 PM, neenako wrote: > Hi, > > I tend to agree with Ravindramani. Guest guest
Ravindramani ji, ///I have broken my leg. The leg has been plastered. Even after 7 seven years it is paining at times./// Considering that I'm recovering from a fractured fifth metacarpel in the left hand, I agree completely. :-) I have heard that when Sukra and Budha are in Meena/Kanya, with one uccha and the other neecha, then neecha bhanga raja yoga happens with the uccha graha only. For example, if both are in Kanya, then Budha will give Neecha Bhanga to Sukra. So, Budha's periods will be good, but Sukra's periods will still be bad. I don't know how far this is true. Have you seen this in practice? ~~~~~~~~~ Balaji Narasimhan Author & Editor http://www.balaji.ind.in/ ~~~~~~~~~
Guest guest
Dear Balaji, It is not so. In actual practice, mostly, this kind of observation do not work fully. What are the influences on these planets. Who are the Nakshtra dispositors of these planets. How they are placed in Navamsa. Whether the dignity of a plaent improved or not in other related vargas. That counts much. Planets give their results in many other subtle ways too. >>>For example, if both are in Kanya, then Budha will give Neecha Bhanga to Sukra. Guest guest
- Vic, Sorry for not logging on earlier and hence the delay in replying to your post. No I did not mean the uchbhanga yoga as explained by Ravindramani. Never came across this. What I meant was that if the ucha and the neecha planet are together in the same sign, the neecha planet can take away something from the ucha planet. as you know that neechbhanga is caused by many different placements of planets. Each one has a different strength and effectiveness. I will come back to this topic after a few days. Right now am really worried about the outcome of the financial meltdown and how it is likely to affect my family.
