Guest guest
To All, Earlier this week, I had the pleasure to watch on my local public TV channel, the first two parts of 6 a documentary titled " The Story of India " . It is a wonderful historical and religious piece and the first ever done on the country. I am sure others can check to see if it is playing in your area. I was so taken by the program that I also bought the DVD and its companion book! Today, I had the added pleasure to view the Indian movie " Slumdog millionaire " . This movie has run away with most of the awards this year in Hollywood for its fine story, music, direction, editing, production and acting. Destiny was its end goal! Both emotionally spiritual, humbling and endearing. Thank you India for who you are, what you have been and what you will become in your continuous evolution as a country and her people. As Always, Uttara " " " 'Three things that cannot be long hidden: the Sun, the Moon and the truth " Guatama Buddha

Guest guest
Dear Uttara, Being an Indian I see your words as an appreciation for the essence of what India is all about. It is about the under current of the age old culture and philosophy that has carried the country this far. Of course, there are aberrations here and there and once in a while and show India in a different light. However, in the core India is still carrying forward the age old teachings and trying to constantly to follow it, no doubt struggling in the process in this era of globalization. The best part is that we know that we have not lost it and can do much better in the future as our roots are pretty strong. Thanks for your sincere appreciation.
