Hi Manpreet,

Currently, I am experimenting with a Birth Time Rectification technique

which seems to work pretty well so far. I tried to rectify this birth time

and got 10:46:10 as the rectified birth time. This method looks for some

kind of relationship between the position of lagna and the placement of one

other planet in the chart. Hence, in my opinion, it is definitely Aquarius

lagna.

Krishna

Dear Manpreet,

As far as I know, there is no tested method of finding child's lagna from

parent's chart. Did your astrologer tell why he reached this conclusion that

it is Meena lagna? Is it based on the parent's charts?

Dear Manpreet,

Since time immemorial, there is no consensus on which event from the

following list should be considered as the 'birth':

- Forehead of the baby emerging

- Head of the baby emerging fully

- Full body of the baby emerging

- First cry of the baby

- Cutting the amblical cord.

Even in some of the classics they have said that different astrologers have

different opinions. Hence, it would be wrong on my part to suggest any one

from the above as the right one with any substantial proof.

It is fine if your astrologer takes first cry of the baby and determines the

lagna. That is logical. However, if your astrologer feels that Meena lagna

seems to be a better option because it is more favorable, I consider this

the dumbest way of determining what is the right lagna.

If you ask my personal opinion (without any justification, as I don't have

much at this moment), my belief is that the birth has taken place once the

head of the baby is properly exposed to the external world. I believe that

the antenna in the brain which receives the signals from the external world

gets activated at this time. And, then on, the baby independently receives

signals (including the planetary rays) on its own and starts processing them

without having to depend on the amblical cord for this purpose. You are free

to laugh at my opinion and brush it aside. I know I have only put forward a

theory without proper justification :-)

Krishna

Dear Manpreet,

If the child was delivered via caesarean section this would be reflected in

horoscope. The parents status as doctors would also be reflected in the

horoscope. Examine both Aquarius and Pisces side by side and I'm sure you'll

see which more accurately reflects these things.

In my opinion Pisces does seem to be the clearer choice i.e. Mars,

representing surgeon's knife, conjunct lagna karaka Sun and aspecting lagna

itself. MA/SU in 10th house of father and aspecting Moon (mother) could

indicate parents status as doctors...

But this is only a cursory glance on my part so do examine both charts in

this light and let me know what your conclusion is. The more you know about

the circumstances at birth, the child's place in the family etc, the better

the chance of determining the correct lagna.

Best Wishes,

Mrs.Wendy

Dear Manpreet,

I see your point with debilitated Jupiter. However, if you carefully

observe, Jupiter, Saturn and Sun are in Srinkhala Yoga. This means that

Jupiter behaves as if it is in Sagittarius which is its Moola Trikona! The

blemish of it being debilitated is greatly mitigated. This is a great

blessing as Jupter is the lord of 2nd and 11th. Next, if you use the time I

have suggested and look at D-24, it shows Saraswathi Yoga. This means that

the child will do exceptionally well in Education as well.

Krishna

Regards,

Krishna
