saptamsha and gender

Dear Gurus, NAMASTEY!

 

There are interesting thoughts on the web everywhere with regards to Saptamsha

and gender.

 

For example, for child-birth post a previous aborton, do you calculate the

gender based on 2nd child (i.e. 7th lord from Father's lagna (as 3rd from 5th

forward and 7th from Mothers (as 3rd from 5th reverse))?

 

Also, what if the aforesaid 7th lord is a male planet like Jupiter, conjunct an

exalted male planet like say Rahu but in an even rasi like Taurus. Which factor

takes precedence?
