Guest guest
To All, President Barack Obama took the Oath of President for the 2nd time in the Map Room of the White House. January 21, 2009 19:35 (Eastern time Zone 5:00) Washington D.C. USA The second oath was done to avoid any legal objections or any questioning his Oath the 1st time because it had a few blunders in it. However, my earlier email did note that by American Constitution he became officially president of USA at 12noon on January 20th before he took the oath. In other words the USA Constitution states that the new President become official and legal on January 20th at Noon of the presidential year. Guest guest
Dear Uttara, Thanks for the update. Based on what you have said, I guess the second oath is redundant and we should only consider 12 noon on the 20th for astrological purposes. Right? Guest guest
Dear Krishna, and All //I guess the second oath > is redundant and we should only consider 12 noon on the 20th for > astrological purposes. Right?// That depends. Legally by Constitutional Law, President Barack Obama took official office of the Presidency at 12 noon on January 20th. However, for Astrologers, pinpointing the exact time of Oath (whether at beginning (12:05) or completion (12:05:28) January 20th, or 19:35 Janauary 21st, for chart delineation and analysis can have very different outcomes. I would be most interested to hear what others say. I am not qualified enough to enter into the debate for accuracy. However, it would seem to me that a chart would be reasonable to be erected from the 12:05 or 12:05:28 time. Because in actually that is when the President lst stood forward with raised hand and other hand on Bible with the intent to commit himself to the office. It is going to be interesting too, to see how many will contest any legal actions and signatures the president made between 12:05:28 January 20th and 19:35 January 21st. Some are already calling for all legal motions to be redone for ethical reasons besides calming the fears of many that Obama acted on legal matters before he was sworn in properly. I noted right away when the blunder of the Oath was being taken that it was an onamous sign for the new president and his presidency. It's going to be a very difficult year for him and unfortunately, I feel that so many have elevated him to messiah status that when he disappoints, he will fall hard as many will feel he betrayed them. Of course the truth is that no matter who became president the economic and global issues are so entrenched in difficulty and sensitivity that Change is going to be constricted to reality. So, for these few reasons it would be a good exercise to draw up three charts and compare. One for Noon, one for 12:05:28 (January 20) and one for 19:35 (January 21). IMO, How one detrimines which is truly accurate can only be followed by each chart for 2009 to prove accurate. Any thoughts? Guest guest
||Jai Ramakrishna|| Dear Uttara, I would say to go for the time when he took the Official Oath of office. The reasons being:- 1)He assumed his office on 20th January, 2009 not on 21st January, 2009. 2)The Oath was taken on 21st January in private, while the former was done in public. 3)Prasna that I casted is according to the 1st oath he took & based on local time(IST). 4)As we know, when one takes the oath formally, he assumes that post since that time, irrespective of when he becomes elected as a President/Prime Minister. There can be some reshuffling of the cabinet, if I am not wrong & we might experience pretty soon. 5)The oath that was taken on 21st January, was a legal formality due to a faulty of 1st oath(the word " faithfully " ). Anyways, we wish Mr.Barack Obama good luck & God help Obama. Guest guest
Dear Uttara,Garauv an dothers, Many people have cast parshna charts at the time of the swearing ceremoney at different locations and time zoness too. This chart mostly shall have relationship with natal chart trikonas . As seen from this combined effects thr period ahead is going to be turbulent and no wonder if another war like situation arises. Mr Obama also made 2nd swearing,a corrective action sholud help to resolve many irritating problems. His taking oath through bible offered by Ms Micheele Obama too is a good sign that should mitigate some hardships. His Presidency shall have legal issues to be resolved. Completion of term as Presidency is not easy and His perosnal care assumes highest priority. vrkrishnan --- On Thu, 1/22/09, <gaurav.ghosh wrote: <gaurav.ghosh Re: President Barack Obama takes Oath of Office 2nd time jyotish-vidya Thursday, January 22, 2009, 3:23 AM ||Jai Ramakrishna| | Dear Uttara, I would say to go for the time when he took the Official Oath of office.
