Current Transits: Bushfires in Australia

Dear Group,

We're in the thick of a scorching hot summer here in Australia and the

raging fires spreading across Victoria, although tragic, are a

reoccurring consequence of living in such a hot, dry climate. I remember

one year (in the 60's??) when the whole Dandenong ranges were on fire.

As I'm sure most members know I lost four of my beloved sisters over the

last few years. All my original family (same mother and father). However

my mother remarried and I do have two half sisters and one half brother.

My brother (Barry) lives in Florida and I haven't been in touch with him

for many years. The two half sisters (Sheryl and Glenys) live in Victoria

in the Bushfire area. Sheryl, who I haven't been in touch with for around

18 yrs, lives in King Lake where many deaths have been reported. I've

been phoning the Red Cross hotline all morning for more information but

haven't been able to get through.

We've talked a lot about the transit of Jupiter in regards to the

financial crisis etc., but not much attention has been given to the

transit of Sun/Mars (two fiery planets) joining JU/RA in

Capricorn...Mercury has also just joined this conjunction. Interesting to

note that Tr SU/MA sit in each other's constellation, whilst Tr Jupiter

occupies nakshatra of Moon...this is relevant considering that other

states (in Australia) are suffering severe flooding.

In the chart for Australia 1 Jan 1901 (00:00) Melbourne, Vic, Australia,

Jupiter owns 4th bhava...home, home comforts, landed property, houses,

gardens, agricultural products, vehicles (many victims perished in their

cars when they fled the fires), horses, cows, goats, sheep etc, etc..

I can't agree more :-)

I have been distracted to fully put my input to the many changes that

we have experienced Mudane-ly in January and now in the heat of a very

volatile February, however, I can always regroup and report later

since the month is just beginning.

However, and this is the crux of the matter (I believe)that what

effects us personally, effects our world and it transits.

Mrs. Wendy, my heart just aches for you in your concerns, but you have

brought up a very real significance to how we should view are own

experiences and through these volatile times as we are all experiencing.

Jupiter's transit into Capricorn at its most debilitive along with

Transit Rahu (trouble maker and devil making in its own churn) with

Sun combusting most of the planets here etc, is nothing to wish or put

aside. Personally, I feel wherever Jupiter's transit is and to how it

effects us is one I wish we would study more. Especially since there

is a stellium of planets here and will be for the long run with Rahu's

transit effecting Jupiter, Capricorn, axis, aspects and dahsa bhukti etc.

I did put up my son's chart up last month in regard to career with

Jupiter and Rahu in Capricorn and such. I am sure others have chart's

they would like to study and bring to the group.

Please do, We have as an advantage to study Capricorn/Jupiter/Rahu

for most of 2009 which can and will effect all of us. I know I am

eager to earn from other's as much as all would like to learn and

study as a whole.

Too, The stellium of Sun Mars Mercury Jupiter Rahu is just ripe for

all of us to learn from. Let's not forget also that the Solar Eclipse

of 26 Jan and the Lunar eclipse of 9 Feb play a significant role in

the first 8 months of 2009. And, not to be forgotten we have a

eclipse of Aug 2008 who is coming to fruitation now.

p.s just to make sure for others who might be in doubt, Rahu is never

combust. However does play an important role of conjuction with other

planets in Capricorn

Your response is greatly appreciated :-)

Whilst it's still on my mind and before I forget totally, I should point

out that (in Australia's chart) 8th lord Mars, dispositing Moon, occupies

12th in sign of Leo...both floods and bushfires are common occurrences

here, I'm afraid.

Not to dwell on myself too much, but as you well know I've encountered

some extremely unwanted and (I feel) unwarranted personal attacks since

this unfavourable transit began, and (unfortunately) it doesn't look like

easing any time soon. My poor husband has taken to sitting up all night

with the outside light on and internal lights off in order to ward of any

more vandalism to his vehicle. I had an altercation with a neighbour a

few days ago after he had reversed his vehicle into my garden, knocking

down the small fence and breaking my sprinklers. I confronted him and

told him that, even though he (obviously) has no respect for his

property, he should have respect for other's. His response was to smash

the rear window of my husband's van that very night. The next night the

front indicator light was destroyed.

Last night, as I said, my poor husband kept watch all night...no more

damage was done thank God. But how on earth does one deal with things

like this. I'm becoming extremely vexed by the dark side of human

nature...
