Guest guest
To All. When one is delineating a chart for health which divisional chart is favored for this? D-6 Health D-11 Death and Destruction D-30 Diseases or are all three considered with Rasi and Navamsa? As Always, Uttara
Guest guest
Dear Uttara, Other members may offer more on this, however, I would consider the placement of dasa lords in Shashtamsha (disease) and Ekadashamsha (Cure), in conjunction with Rashi. Guest guest
Dear Uttara, Drekkana chart could profitably be used for finding out, time for on set of diseases, and more particularly the body part which is to suffer. Varahamihira and certain other authors prescribe the body parts according to the drekkana rising in the Lagna. But detailed information is not available in the treatise. Still, an intelligent student can make use of them in predictive use. Recently, in the chart of Shri Narinder Sharma, one can see how these principles worked well. Notice the Lagna degree 14:17, i.e. second drekkana rising in the Lagna. Then 11th house especially denotes left arm. (When the second drekkana rising in the Lagna, the parts of the body starting from neck to naval are represented from 1st house to 12th house.) Saturn owned this house, placed in the 12th house of loss. The powerful 6th lord Mercury aspecting Saturn. This Mercury is placed in the constellation of Hasta, which is owned by Moon. The constellation Hasta represents left fore arm and the fingers as per the scheme of Nakshtra sareera of Lord Vishnu. In the dasha of Moon he lost his fingers in the accident involving with a machine. Lagna Lord is Mars who is debilitated and is located in 26:08 i.e. the drekkana of Cancer. We know machines are represented by Mars. He is 8th Lord too. This drekkana is known as Sarpa drekkana, which is not a desirable place for Lagna lord to be in. (I hinted in my message that Mars is placed in a sensitive degree). It is owned by Jupiter the lord of loss in this chart. See what is happening in D-3 of Narinder's chart. See the axis where the dasha lords or placed, correlate the facts with the planets, and synthesize with the Lagna chart proper. It is crystal clear. Regards, C.S. Ravindramani. PS: I am just showing a way. Members may like to put them on the similar charts in their possession and see how this technique works. ========================= jyotish-vidya , " muttaraphalguni " <muttaraphalguni wrote: > > To All. > > When one is delineating a chart for health which divisional chart is favored for this? > > D-6 Health > D-11 Death and Destruction > D-30 Diseases > > or are all three considered with Rasi and Navamsa? > > As Always, > > Uttara
Guest guest
Dear Mrs. Wendy and all, Thanks for your info. I did write below that D-6 was health and not diseases. On a physical level. I understand that D-30 can be defined as diseases but more in the context of sudden gains or ends, misfortunes. However, more on a sub conscious level. D-11 also on a physical level, however, again, I thought Ekadashamsha was more military, higher incomes and predictor of death and accidents. And much the same as Rudramsha known as ultimate destruction. As a cure, I am unfamiliar. Since I am not well versed and do not use the divisional charts on a regular basis, it seems I need to do more research. If you could explain the differences here i would be much obliged. Guest guest
Dear Ravindramani, You are talking about the Tri Vargas are you not? If so, using the Drekkana D-3 on a physical level for health and troubles is a fascinating look into the use of D-3 usually meant for siblings and such. However, the example you have written below in regard to a recent chart that has been up for study on JV points very clearly and accurately how using the Drekkana chart in your delineation has worked so well! Thank you for this fine example. I will study it more as I look further into using divisional charts. I usually only use the Rasi with Planet Lords and Navamsa (as fruit of the Rasi along with spouse)in delineation for all purposes. It was the way I was briefly taught. I do know others use the divisional charts on a regular bases and feel if they don't they will not get an accurate reading. I am just beginning to delve into them and try to understand each of thier purposes which at times can be confusing because often each divisional chart can represent more than one thing. If you can further enlighten I would be most appreciative.
