I told you in my prior email that I would give you an update... Well, the gods be praised, I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at the hospital to find out that the doctors mercifully would allow her to go home. (Just so you know I can't stand hospitals). She is here now resting comfortably as best as possible. It is going to take some time, like eight to ten weeks to regain strength and get accustomed to the rhythm and sometimes the lack thereof of the machine now assisting her heart. As she was waking up from a short nap, she was warmed and humbled by a phone call from pdk inquiring about her welfare and offering his best wishes and prayers. (Even I was impressed by his call from India). My best assessment is that we are on a positive track, but much watchful waiting is needed.
