Dear Wendyji and Group,

How do we interpret planets between 29 degrees till 30 degrees and between 0

degrees and 1 degrees.

Do they lose power to produce result or do they start showing results of the

next sign (in case opproaching 30 degrees) and the earlier sign in case they are

less than 1 degrees.

What is the importance of bhava chart where the planet has moved to the next or

the preceeding house. How does one interpret a planet which is vakri and at 1

degree or less.

I have 3 -4 charts atleast which have one planet nearing 0

E.g : 1. 10th July 1981, 8.56 am Mumbai

Lagna is at 1 deg 04 and Mars the yogakaraka is at 0 degree 49

Best Regards

Nilesh

Dear Nilesh,As far as lagna goes, it does not make any difference whether it is in the middle of a sign or at the last degree of a sign. The same applies to Rahu and Ketu as well.

For the physical planets, they are considered weak when they are near the border of a sign called Rasi Sandhi. They are even more weak when they occupy the sandhi between a water sign and a fire sign. This kind of sandhi is called gandantha sandhi. Also, a planet is supposed to be more effective for the bhava(s) it owns when its degrees in a sign is closer to the degrees of lagna in any sign.

Dear Shri Nilesh Ji and members

For years together bhava madhya was considered as base in studying borderline cases and cusp.with stellar positions taken into consideration, things might be clear.

Here also in some cases where sign change is involved,it is also equally in consistent.

All such cases,it always better to be more consistent to read as per previous sign(upto 5 deg) and next sign over 25 deg.

However collateral study as per sun and moon too along with lagna may not pose difficulties in delineation.

Hence the houses ruled by these planets become weak and suffers. When a planet in Bhava sandhi, its effect on bhava is almost nil.Example : Sun in lagna Bhava makes the person bold and have defective eye sight. However if sun placed quite far from the degreeof lagna - near bhava shandhi , these effect will not be prominent.Guruji's pointers work well in my observation.s/s
