We know that 9th house is for many things.Further the year 2009 is ending with lunar eclise(?) and year 2010 is greeted with solar eclipse. Already year 2009 has experienced major transits of Saturn,Nodes and of course,transit of jeeva from it;s mooltrikone sign. The group certainly have many things apart from social obligations on accounts of Thnx Giving,Christmas festiveties and certainly the new year ahead to pray for something better and some thing positive than the current satge. I am here in the background mostly overseeing as I have been unindated with many other responsibilities plus medical and eye appointments and such. The Holidays too adds to the hectic time of the year. I am glad you wrote, because I wanted to express my lack of contribution to the group so that no one felt JV had been abandoned. I am sure in the New year things will pick up dramatically as all the major transits will have completed themselves by dec 19th and Mercury retro (12/27 - 1/14) will have ended. In the meantime, Jupiter has slowed down too getting ready for its transition into Aquarius Dec 19th and Mercury is being adversely effected by currently being in Sag/Ju with Rahu. Adding Sun there 12/15 and Moon's current transit there too, makes for a rather packed house full of tension. I think Mercury has caused many a lot of problems with communications and computer problems too, since it moved into Sag/Ju Dec 1st. On a personal note: Having a stellium of planets in my fourth house has brought my focus to home, family and issues surrounding house. For instances, in the last two weeks my kitchen has had a plumbing backup which totally up rooted my kitchen for days while the plumbers routed out the stoppage 50ft away. Then this past Saturday the double oven literally caught fire - blazing away inside until my husband shut off the circuit breaker (electric ovens) and we doused the ovens with our at home fire extinguisher before the whole house caught fire. Needless to say, I am without ovens and in fact at this time the upper over door is on the floor of my garage at the moment. Add to that we have had near zero temperatures and one can not minimize the severe financial problems of my husband's business with the current economy. I for one am looking forward to mid January when things hopefully calm down a bit. However, Mercury's stay in Sag/Ju will not end until Feb 6th, so even though mercury will be going direct Jan 15th, it is still a time for all to watch their illusion of expansive Jupiter ruler of Sag against Rahu and Mercury who will bring anyone to their knees if they are not prudent in their expenses or other communicative actions. This too should be noted as transit Jupiter goes to Aquarius and will be 3rd house from Sag/Ju.
