Guest guest
ShantiMayi once told the story of two elephants caught in a raging torrent near Rishikesh when Ganga was in full flood. After some time one managed to scramble to shore but the other drowned. This little anecdote was given during a talk on 'surrender'. Referring to the elephant that drowned she remarked (nonchalantly) that this was total surrender... ================================ Mrs. Wendy Friday, 15 January 2010 3:46 PM jyotish-vidya Re: Re: Vitamin D and heart attacks Dear Ravindramani, ///Jupiter is " Ganga Jal " . Ganga can become full of mire and polluted. Still Ganga is Ganga. So is Jupiter./// People (and even elephants) are still swept away and drown in the Ganga, are they not? I'm not for one moment disputing the blessed nature of Ganga or of Jupiter; but, under certain conditions, both can be harmful. Guest guest
Dear Mrs Wendy ji, Very thought provoking anecdote you have recollected from Shant Mayyee Lecture. In Rishikesh,a place for those devouts who explore for " TRuth " .very little there to talk about material aspects as all panchbhootas around those devouts nothing else.Entire creation is out of these panchbhootas. To signify Jal/water it is(termed) Ganga. Those that dependent for water(Ganga) it is pious and as well as it is polluted. But part of Nature.a Creation of Almighty. To that mighty element of water we surrender as part of five elements in creation. Story of Surrender(Ego) to destiny.to the one that cares for all.Never harms.out of fear one can not die every day.One who is brave braces for any thing(fight or flight situations) Vattem Krishnan Cyber Jyotish Services (For all counseling services) Dr.B.V.Raman " Fools Obey Planets While  Wisemen Can Control Them " Planets are neutral Controllers of Mans Karma  --- On Sat, 1/16/10, gopalakrishna <gopi_b927 wrote: gopalakrishna <gopi_b927 Re: A short anecdote jyotish-vidya Saturday, January 16, 2010, 2:08 AM  Dear Mrs Wendy, good one indeed.Nonchalantly or not i believe it is a truth...
