Guest guest
To All, The key Phrase to digest is: The breast cancer has morphed into a metastatic angiocarcinoma with a breast origin to define root of aggression. The muscle and bone of the chest wall have now been compromised and will be treated as a 4th stage cancer in hopes of successful elimination of the cancerous cells. If I might add at this time, there is nothing to fear immediately as I am feeling very well. Chemo as I related in my previous post would be contradictive to long term longevity besides, compromise my immunity of severe reaction to the drugs. If chemo is used in the future, it will be in combination with radiation or other for pain. Not for the cancer. In the meantime, I have all in my thoughts and prayers and indeed grateful thanks for the care, prayers and loving concern. It is always dreadful to hear of neg. results from those we have grown close to. Thank you J.V. for all your understanding, support and prayerful support. I continue On!! Guest guest
Dear Gopi, If you read through my post again you may connect to the fact that I was also referring (albeit in a subtle manner) to a similar response to Uttara, which no doubt could have been quite hurtful. **The same is true for people who, through illness, find themselves going through a similar process having to face the reality of their own mortality. Whether we're struggling to come to terms with the loss of a loved one or the possible loss of our own life, the grieving is the same; and, the very least that should be asked of us is to show compassion.** The point I'm wanting to make is this; At difficult times like this, people are extremely vulnerable and we really do need to choose our words very carefully. I'm quite sure that you meant no harm and that, at worse, it was just a poor choice of wording. However I do hope we will ALL be more mindful in future of the suffering of others; which, to them, is very real at the time, and platitudes can seem quite uncaring, if not harsh... The divine privilege of looking into people's lives carries with it a huge responsibility...
