Guest guest
Dear Mrs. Wendy, In Tamil Nadu, Saturday starts with taking oil bath - all males, irrespective of their age, in a family copiously apply Sesame oil on their head and whole of the body, and they allow the oil to be on the head and body at least for half an hour before rubbing out the oil orally by Shikakai Powder made locally at home (the botanical name - Acacia Concinna). Female members of the family do the same on Fridays. On other week days, coconut oil is applied on head daily by everybody. This ritual takes care of all problems relating to dandruff and the problems related to hair loss or supporting growth of hair. In the fast moving world, with the advent of Shampoos and the vigrous marketing strategies, in day to day life, nobody follows this custom in my family. Result: fall of hair and going to doctors, wasting their time and loosing my purse strings.
