Recovering after severe storm

Dear Group,

We had a severe storm here yesterday...passing over my area around 5:00pm. The

power went off almost immediately and wasn't restored until around 1:00pm

today...about 20 hours without any power is a huge wake-up call as to just how

reliant we are on electricity. There's been a lot of damage throughout Perth,

but (thankfully) we've escaped anything major...just a big mess in the garden

that requires some cleaning up. I think all the food in the refrigerator/freezer

will have to be thrown out, and not sure about the insulin? Tried to call both

my doctor and pharmacy but it seems they're still blacked out and phones not

working. I'd walk over (they're just across the road from me) but for some

reason I'm feeling completely drained of energy.

As I write this, the thought occurs to me that the most logical reason for such

physical weakness is due to the dramatic change in weather over the last 24

hrs... Not surprising 9th house (problems due to weather changes) tells it all.

I think it would be wise at this time to heed the message of 'Mother Nature' and

take some rest until the atmosphere around me settles down. Never a better time

to play some Gandharva Ved CDs to restore balance within and without.

But, before I do, let me forward a mail from Vic regarding the chart of Sri

Krishna. I don't know how authentic this is or, in fact, how authentic any data

can be for such historic figures. However, here is the mail and if you wish to

discuss the chart, please do.

Best Wishes

Mrs.Wendy

Sri Krishna's Astrology

Dear Mrs. Wendy,

I finally finished an enormous project, which I would like to know if I can

share with the members of your list. It is a video series on the Vedic astrology

of Sri Krishna. Part 1 astrologically introduces Krishna as a Vishnu Avatar with

the mission of upholding the good and overthrowing the bad in human society.

Here is the link to part 1, " God's Horoscope " :

http://vicdicara.com/podcast/episode2.php

Part 2 examines the Asc/ Moon/ Sun in terms of " layers of identity " - and

astrologically demonstrates that Krishna was a non-dual, completely unified

spiritual being: http://vicdicara.com/podcast/episode3.php

Part 3 is the longest... I just finished it today. It examines the Vimshottari

Dasha system and how the " rhythms of the planets " formed the " life cycles of

God " - There is a very thorough examination of Krishna's life story, especially

his early life, in connection with his astrological cycles and subcycles:

Please let me know if it is OK to post this?

I do not use Dr. Raman's version of Krishna's chart - another astrologer-friend,

Veno and I went through Rama's proposal for Krishna's chart and concluded that

it is inferior to the traditional chart (see

http://www.venoastrology.com/krishna.htm). I use the traditional horoscope of

Sri Krishna, made popular in the poetry of Soor Das, but pre-dating him in the

Sarartha Darshini Bhagavat Purana Tikka of Srila Vishvanatha Chakravarta Thakur;

and pre-dating even this as recorded in an older work, the Kha Maniyak.

Thanks for your consideration!

Yours,

Vic
