I would like to know if affliction can be caused by only natural malefics or is it by functional malefics who might also be natural benefics? Who is aspecting who needs to be established. Let's say F/M Jupiter is aspecting 7th and/or karaka Venus...it may be that difficulties associated with children could result in tension between the parents. But really it's impossible to give a definitive answer as each horoscope is unique.
