Dear Mr Sharma,

It appears I have misread your book. The quotes have to do with Narada

Samhita and not Parashara's BPHS. I am very sorry for the mistake!

Thank you and best regards

VEDIC ASTROLOGY DEMYSTIFIED - Chandrashekhar Sharma -

Saavana year

Hello everyone,

This question is rather intended for Mr Chandrashekhar Sharma if he

wish to answer it. However, I will appreciate everybody's answer.

In chapter XI, concerning Vimshottari dasha, it is stated that we

must use saavana year for dasha calculation, refering to Parashara's

BPHS:

«Brahma, daiva, maanusha, pitrya, saur, saavana, chaandra, nakshatra

and guru are the 9 types (of months and years) [...] Out of these 9

types, five are in use and they are used for different purpose [...]

Saavana month/year is to be accepted for prediction of the writing of

Brahma (Jakata's bhagya/fortune) and birth (literally, foetus of a

woman)».

Is it possible to have the exact reference, chapter and verse, please?

It has been a controversy among French jyotishi (at least!) and I was

a firm supporter of the 365, saura year, until I read this passage of

Mr Sharma, to who I am now obliged.

Many thanks!

Best regards,

François

Dear Francois,

There is nothing sad about it.

He must be occupied somewhere else, is what

I make of it. And if necessary one can contact

him on his e mail. And I am sure that he is

pretty aware of the activities of the Forum

and keepging himself abreast of the same.

regards,

Bhaskar.

Marg,

We know the circumsatnces that led Chadrashekharji to

leave the group. It is most unfortunate. Unfortunately

not much has changed on the list for him to return. A

sad loss to the list indeed.

Indeed the absues, foul language used by some gutter mouths of this

list made Sri Chandrasekar leave. Unfortunately, these people

continue to put double face. As you may recall earlier KN Rao -ji

also left the group due to another batch of people who repeatedly

bothered him.

There should be no reason for anyone to leave this list. Differences apart

the list is an exchange of ideas and not exchange of volleys of abuses. If

Sri Bhaskar or Sri Raja Gurusahani and others feel they can provoke each

other or abuse each other and make a public display of it, it is unwanted by

the list. All personal hatred should be left to personal emails. Why is

group being subjected to it? If anyone has any hatred towards the other,

kindly write an email directly to him/her.

I have read the archives of the group and know whom you refer responsible

for Sri K. N. Raoji's departure. The quality of discussions since then have

declined in my view. They have further declined by less participation by Sri

Chandrashekhar Sharma. When I say this, it does not mean I agree to

everything what Sri Chandrashekhar had to say, but the mature presence he

commanded and the ideas he shared, did give a new perspective on things.

This is collective research.

If people were to go the archives and see how Sri K. N. Raoji would guide a

discussion on a particular focused topic. I may be missing a few names here

and please pardon me for it. I really wish these people would return.

And I also pray that those who have provoked, and those who have abused,

will stop doing so and take personal things out in a personal way. Do not

involve the group. I hope our moderator can enforce this.

Thanks and Regards

Bharat

Namaste Sri Bhaskar

If I did not write your name, you would have said " that people do not have

courage to write my name " . So I wrote your name. Plus I have publicly

advised, suggested and asked you to show refrain in the past. However,

though your astrological postings are of substance the personal messages of

anyone should be kept away from the list as a rule. This includes me too.

Yes I am well wisher of the forum and of its participants and that includes

you two.

Please deal someone who provokes you with firmness. Bring it to the notice

of the moderator through a personal email. You can abuse, fight, exchange

blows in a personal manner. What has group got to do with it?

Moreover, I know Sri Raja has provoked you again and again and he takes

great joy in doing so too, but, he still writes here and despite your abuses

and everything, not a single action has been taken against him. Cause many

feel you are in the wrong and you have time and again reacted very badly.

So, what is the end result? Did any of your actions help stop the tirade of

Sri Raja against you?

So it is best any such personal matters be taken out of the group. This is

my suggestion. I seek neither to spoil your name or anyone else's. I have

supported you when I felt you are right and have freedom to tell you

directly what I dislike.

Lastly, neither am I the moderator or the owner of the group, but, would

like this rule to be implemented.

Hope everyone has the courage to say yes to this rule.

Thanks and Regards

Bharat

Namaste Sri Bharatji,

Yes this rule should be implemented, I am for it.

No personal references should be made whatsoever.

Actually its is a sad matter that we have to talk

about such rules being implemented. This should

be understoodamong a decent lot of people. But

this world is made of all sorts, and not being

face to face like in class rooms, where the

person can be reprimanded personally, here we can

all hope that people would follw this Line of

thinking. Since they dont, then rules have to be

made and implemented.

Thanks for coming out in clear.

Kind regards,

Bhaskar.
