Planetary Transits for February 21 – February 27

 

Sun transits Aquarius from 08:00 to 15:02°, and is under the aspect of

Saturn until Feb. 28. Cancer, Virgo, and Pisces rising signs should be

careful and patient.

 

Moon transits Leo, Virgo, Libra, and into Scorpio.

 

Mars transits Gemini, from 02:41 to 04:28°. Mars is weak until Feb. 29 and

under the influence of Rahu until March 11. There can be problems relative

to fire, earth, (Earthquake In Indonesia), police, military, property,

explosions, executives, etc. Mars remains in Gemini until April 28.

 

Mercury transits Capricorn from 14:35 to 18:20°, closely conjunct Venus

until April 4. Taurus, Scorpio, and Pisces rising signs should be careful

and patient.

 

Jupiter transits its mooltrikona sign, Sagittarius, from 20:01 to 21:18°,

outside the orb of influence of other planets. This is good for law,

religion, publishing, teaching, etc.

 

Venus transits Capricorn from 10:26 to 19:04°, closely conjunct Mercury

until April 4. Aries, Libra, and Aquarius rising signs should be careful

and patient.

 

Saturn transits Leo, from 11:26 to 10:52°, under the aspect of Sun until

Feb. 28. Virgo, Capricorn and Pisces rising signs should be careful and

patient. Saturn is retrograde until May 2.

 

Rahu and Ketu transit Aquarius and Leo, respectively, from 03:45 to 03:40°.

Persons with rising signs in the 3-degree range, or with planets in odd

signs in the 3-degree range, such as Senator Barack Obama, need to be extra

careful and patient. Rahu and Ketu remain in the 3-degree range until March

26.

 

Transits for each “Rising sign” (Not “Sun sign”):

 

Aries: You may feel ambitious, energized and restless. Take advantage of

the situation, but get extra rest and exercise care and patience. Be

careful to avoid conflict, fire, theft, and debts, with your spouse,

partners and in the workplace. There may be gains and income.

 

Taurus: Focus on your career and home life. Take care of your children,

education, and investments, and be careful to avoid fire, theft, debts, and

conflict in these areas through March. Be patient with losses, expenses,

and travel or long-distant ventures.

 

Gemini: Your health, communications, and entrepreneurial activities should

improve. Expect fluctuations with income and friendships through March 11.

Take care of your parents, property, home life, children, education and

investments through mid-March.

 

Cancer: Continue to take care of your wealth, status, speech, and family

life. There may be delays, setbacks, accidents, etc. Your career also

remains vulnerable through March 11. Focus on marriage and partnerships

connected with your own efforts and property or fixed assets.

 

Leo: Focus on marriage and partnerships, and be open to new arrangements.

Exercise a lot of patience before speaking to avoid conflict, and be careful

regarding fire, theft, and debts. Delay new projects until mid-March. Your

children and investments should be doing well.

 

Virgo: Continue to keep your attention on your children, parents, property,

education, investments, and creative projects. Exercise a lot of care and

patience with your debt and health through Feb. There may be losses and

expenses on account of these and authority figures.

 

Libra: Continue to focus on your parents, property and home life, but

exercise a lot of patience to avoid losses and expenses. You may feeling

down or confined. Some travel or relocation is possible. Invest in

government bonds. Expect gains. Pursue your own initiatives during 2008.

 

Scorpio: Take some precaution to manage losses and expenses associated with

income, friends, and older siblings through March. Focus on your career,

parents, property, and home life. Keep extra attention on your health and

finances through March 11.

 

Sagittarius: Expect good fortune with your career, income, friendships, and

your own initiatives. Keep some attention on your children, education,

investments, and partners through March 11, as these are subject to sudden

fluctuations. Teach, publish, and advise during 2008.

 

Capricorn: Expect good fortune and career opportunities, but exercise a lot

of care and patience to avoid accidents through Feb. There may be setbacks,

delays and obstructions. Keep a lot of dark blue colors around you.

Property and home life are also vulnerable through March 11.

 

Aquarius: Focus on your partners through Feb. Be careful to manage any

losses connected with your inheritance, insurance, or other windfalls.

There may be some problems relative to your father or guru. Entrepreneurial

investments are in fluctuation through March 11.

 

Pisces: Exercise a lot of care and patience through Feb. There can be

losses and expenses associated with your debts, health, and authority

figures. Be careful to manage delays, setbacks, and disappointments in

relationships through March. Focus on your home life and career.

moon's eclipse prolonged to the 21st early morning too in some parts of the

Saturn's influence on Sun for Capricorn rising sign is not a problem.

 

Saturn for Capricorn is a favorable planet.

 

Saturn's influence on Sun, for Cancer, Virgo, and Pisces rising signs, is

not considered favorable, because for these signs Saturn rules the eighth,

sixth, and twelfth houses, respectively.

 

These are dusthana bhavas (inauspicious houses), and therefore the influence

of Saturn on the Sun, or any other planet, would be considered unfavorable.

 

Any time a planet's mooltrikona sign is placed in a dusthana bhava (the

sixth, eighth, or twelfth house), then the ruler of that house for that

natal chart, for that rising sign, can cause adverse effects.

 

This is one of the real keys to jyotish.

the subject, which was published in the American Council of Vedic Astrology

Journal.

this is what i thought on this.

taking sun as the reference point,

6th is cancer which you have mentioned

8th is virgo which also you have mentioned

and 12th happens to be capricorn from sun which is stationed in aq right now

and 2nd happens to be pisces about which i had this doubt whether it could

mean the 12th or the 2nd from the sun and dint take saturn at all in the scheme

of things. of course we also keep track of the aspects by other planets on each

one of them.

i saw it all from a different angle altogether.

i shall certainly read any article you may post in this regard.
