Hi Folks

Some thoughts on the Hindu new year chart for Washington DC (mundane

astrology). I have more open questions than answers about this chart.

April 5, 2008 (22:55:49) washington DC (using Jhora)

1. Lagna is Scorpio (vargotamma)

2. Ju in second

3. Rahu in 4th

4. Fifth house Mo,Su, Me, Ve (Venus exalted, Me debilitated)

5. Mars in eighth house (lagna lord)

6. Ke and Sat® in 10th house

Now here some thoughts and questions.

1. Somebody had commented that Ketu in 10th shows a unconventional

person occupying the throne (the New president). There is Saturn -

somebody who might represent conventional ideas and old?? Mccain maybe

(also republican)

2. Tenth lord itself is Sun (Male sign Leo) well placed in 5th, with

Venus (lady)

3. Tenth lord is in Saturn navamsa - commoner in the throne?

McCain, Hillary and Obama all are commoners. Though Obama has

Jupiter/Sun opposition showing that Rajalakshana in his chart.

4. McCain was born outside USA (Panama Canal) -is he a outside

person -Is this represented by Ketu?

5. I remember (not verified) that when Manmohan Singh became PM -

somebody had commented that Ketu in New Delhi's new year chart was in

10th house and that it had to a unconventional person (other religion)

6. Obama claims he is Christian -his middle name is Hussein. No

comment.

7. Dasamsa lagna has Venus and Mars in it (Sagi rising). 10th lord

Mercury is debilitated. Could this be somebody young (Me represents

prince)

8. Ket and Saturn -Somebody who is wise, conventional. See Venus in

10th house of Navamsa (lady?)

More questions that answers. I welcome your thoughts. Any errors or

omissions is mine.

Hi Manjunath

L1 in 8 shows the country is undergoing huge and disturbing changes, especially

on the military front and with respect to boundaries and rules and regulations.

Jupiter in 2 shows a wealthy nation but with many debts accruing due to Mars

aspect as L6 , though due to Mars being vipreet these debts can be overcome

eventually. This same aspect between Jupiter and Mars shows clergy and religious

doctrine are all vulnerable and prone to attack and dispute, and will be subject

to some new regulation or contract of agreement to settle the problem, this same

interpretation can also be applied to banking and especially loan schemes.

Nodes across 4/10 shows major transformation to the country as a whole,

restlessness and perhaps insecurity, with problems associated with migration and

immigration, and these being a major issue for the government to deal with, due

to Saturn ruling Rahu in 4, being in tenth house.

The fifth house shows exactly what is going on at the moment and that is a race

for political leadership--Venus and Sun, between women-Moon and a hermaphrodite

Mercury:-)

The fifth house connection to tenth house due to Sun L10 in five and Jup L5 in

ten, shows a leadership in the theatre --drumming up support for election, as

well as strong past life punya being brought into play in this process. The

would be leaders are having to go on stage and 'strut their stuff' if you like.

Saturn in tenth is echoing the same situation due to it being L3 which is also

connected to drama and performing. Saturn shows problems at presidential level

due to it being L6 from tenth house,

Foreign connections for the leadership campaign is shown due to Sun being with

L12 Venus, also Saturn in ten is aspecting twelfth of overseas lands.

I don't think McCain can win due to military being in eighth house--Mars, though

he is putting up a good fight due to funding and support given to Mars by

Jupiter.

I think Obama will win this election because the Saturn conjunct Mars

conjunction in June this year favours Kenya, and we know that Obama still has

his family there, and wasn't he born there as well?

best wishes

M

sorry marg,

but you must know that you must be born here currently by law in order to

become president of the united states. so barack obama was born in hawaii in

order to qualify for becoming a president of the good old usa.

the problem with baracks chart and if this is so (proves how important

ashtakavarga system is in an election which seems to be the case in prior

discoveries of elections) is that he doesn't have the bindu points as

opposed to hilary. i really wonder in the end if those bindu points will

make a difference as to me they really mean the superdelegates that hilary

can win to overcome the negative mainstream popularity difference she has

slightly right now. of course they say her win in ohio has change some

perception of her.

any comments greatly welcomed of course. differences of opinion always

encouraged especially if logical.

Well I am wrong as mccain proves that you don't have to be born in the

USA but have to have a us citizen parent.
