Leo is a male sign - 10th house shows the new president right. 2. Obama was born in Honolulu. Most western astrolgers are using 1:06pm time, please check the date on web. He is a US citizen by birth. this time give libra lagna. But move it 10 minutes to change the navamsa lagna to Gemini (I think). anyway it is DD or C rating time of birth. This Libra lagna does not (my interpretation) two daughters to him. Seeing his D9 and Saptamsa I would think he would have one son. Anyway I am not so sure. 3. Obama's chart transits (Moon in taurus) are not good at all. Jupiter in 8th and Ketu and Sani in 4th hardly helpful. Quite possible that his bhukti is strong to overrule weakness in transit. 4. For HRC -transits are better and helpful. 5. McCain (born outside US -Panama Canal) but a US citizen by virtue of birth to a US Citizen. It is Saturn-Jupiter. kanya lagna. Saturn is powerful and retro placed in Aq. Jupiter is in Scorpio. Jupiter is deb in D9. His 12th house is fully activated -double transit. I haven't bother with HRC chart as her birth time is so controversial though when hubby was having a bad press a local journalist asked me to look at one set of data and HRC didn't look likely to be a president at any time, though the chart may have been wrong one. As for Obama he does look Libran asc and behaves like one also, though clearly his child production significations do need closer scrutiny. I respect McCain's race for the top position. However, Saturn in this position of tenth in such a sensitive chart also tells of illness, disability and of death of a prominent man in the year ahead. I would also add that bearing in mind my own look at Mars opp Saturn in 2007, which showed many issues connected to slavery I'm minded to see ketu in tenth a karmic sign in karmic house, and punya issues as I referenced with fifth house earlier, manifesting in a not unusual way. I see the combination of transit mars with Saturn and ketu in karmic tenth as a direct sign that a karmic return is about to hit the US. Where did slave labour come from? Mars transit in mid year with tenth planets gives a karmic payout, and I see it as a descendant slave ---Saturn---fighting ---mars- for leadership, and resetting the karmic wheel ----tenth house, bringing an historic retribution----Ketu-- to the fore. best wishes M - M. Somebody has to accept a slight downgrade to a VP nominee. Remains to be seen. totally unsure how to analyse this astrologically. Based on moon signs alone Obama -(Taurus) and Clinton (Aquarius) -it is 4/10 -neutral. They might just get along without any great liking to each other, if such a sharing occurs. This is perhaps a win-win situation for both and the democratic party. My 2 cents.
