Guest guest
Dear list Do you not find it totally ironic that a twist of fate means that by changing one letter alone the name of the enemy of the US becomes it's president? Guest guest
Dear Marg, Twist of fate or miracle of life- the most hated enemy and beloved president! I am still in owe, how powerfully life conveys it's messages, despite all odds- there is an order in the universe, life should be trusted. No negative campaign, principles /truth, dignity, morality/ above interest- Obama has reminded us of basic values- and world responded! On visceral level, even more that rational. Hope, trust that life unfolds just as it should, restored sense of justice and morality- so good to be alive in these interesting times, indeed. People around me seem to be more cheerful these days. Guest guest
Hi Anna It certainly makes me smile to think that not only does God play dice with the universe, he plays scrabble as well:-) Enjoy M - 108ar Thursday, November 06, 2008 6:26 PM Re: what's in a name? All it does is projects our own wish on him. He is asmart savy intelligent politician who was very lucky to run at time financial disaster happend and wipe out credibility of his opponent. To evaluate his chart astrologically is one things but to prasie his campaigne and himself as some sort of moral leader is silly at best Regards Dilip --- On Thu, 11/6/08, 108ar <bona_mente wrote: 108ar <bona_mente Re: what's in a name? Guest guest
Good point, so glad you made it Might I suggest in reply to that you research exactly who built the white house this man is about to live in, before you pour scorn on the poetry of morality? - Dilip Bhatt Friday, November 07, 2008 2:36 PM Fw: Re: what's in a name? --- On Thu, 11/6/08, Dilip Bhatt <dilip.bhatt wrote: Dilip Bhatt <dilip.bhatt Re: what's in a name? Guest guest
DEar Marg, I get your point that Black slaves built whitehosue where Obama will now live. But you surly know that Obama's ancestors DID NOT built it. None of the Obama's famliy ancestors were ever slaves!! So I do not see what you point is? Except if you are purly pointing out his sin color. I agree he is firts non white ( non 100% white ) person to occupy white house. I am proud of my country that way. BUt To project all kind of virtues on him and his political campaigen is silly. Guest guest
Dear Dilip You said ''So I do not see what you point is?'' Shame really, but do you think that's because you are projecting all kinds of meaning into what was exchanged, which was never intended in the first place? - dbhatt4651 Friday, November 07, 2008 7:23 PM Re: what's in a name?
