Guest guest
Folks, On Jan 20, 2009 at noon -Aries lagna rises with moon neecha in eighth house. Sun in 10th (parivarthana with Saturn). 10th house capricorn has Ju, Rahu, Me and Sun. All the three planets in rasi (10th house) are so close that there in in Meena navamsa together. Quick thoughts (assuming the oath time is at noon) -just an attempt without knowing the actual swearing in time. From 11:05 am to 12:29pm the lagna is Aries at Washington Dc. This time (for the first time) the oath will be administrated by Chief Justice John Roberts (another Aries lagna person). 1. Idealism with action perhaps is the name of the game - Karaka for communication Mercury is good in 10th house. Also self effort - administration will strive hard to make things happen. Su in 10th is very positive. 2. Venus/Saturn opposition in 11/5 axis is potentially good leading to some gains from partnership with other countries. US stands to gain from its partnerships that Obama administation supports. 3. Sun by itself is a good placement in 10th house and shows leadership capabilities. Note that Me, Ju and Su are all in the same nakshatra ruled by Sun. And Saturn 10th lord is in Sun's nakshatra. This administration will be powerful and will have that air of nobility and firmness in what it does. Strong action will be taken as needed. 4. A weak fourth lord Moon- in eighth possibly shows that property related events (read housing values/happiness of people) will not be an easy matter for the administartion to resolve. Does it mean that there will more property damage (wealth and/or real damage due to natural and unnatural events?) 5. Although JU is weak, placement of Venus in house of gains tells me that finances of the country will possibly improve or at least will remain neutral. 6. Starting dasha Sat/Mer (10th lord/10th house connection) 7. Interesting that 10th house of this lagna (oath chart of aries lagna) becomes Obama's natal lagna. It appears that destiny is in harmony for the events to unfold as the inauguration day approaches. M.Sharma
