I don't consider myself an expert on eclipse effects at all, but have been

studying them over a number of about ten to twelve years now in both mundane,

weather and individual charts.

Santhanam also gives some indicators and says that the eclipse in first house is

auspicious.My limited results shows for solar eclipse on asc that health,

physical wellbeing and reputation issues can predominate. My own interp of

Obama's chart would be that the person at this eclipse is being nurtured by many

females, and fostered by many males in authority. he would also be being

inducted in administrative processes due to sun (authority) L8 connecting with

JU and SA in asc. Ju is L12 so add to this that he will be being advised of many

secrets of US administration at this time. However, one can guarantee that when

transit sun is opposite natal sun there is always someone around battling egos

and vying for power and trying to take control over you, so this will be

happening for Obama who undoubtedly will be 'fighting' to maintain his

independence from many who will seek to pull his strings so to speak.

I like the fact that today's muhurtha for him---(providing my prog hasn't done

something I didn't ask it) shows he is realising his ambitions today.

yeah john, i noticed that too by the way. most importantly is the fact

that an eclipse is on its way after the event. obamas chart if correct

as a capricorn lagna signals an eclipse right on his lagna. so i am

just wondering what that signifies. anyone in the group become an

expert on solar eclipses and their effects on the 1st and 7th house

axis?

 

anyone understand fully the nature of solar eclipses. from my research

all it signifies is that negative events transpire, but that is not

always the case with a person's chart because the house will be

activated and what house that signifies might be good or bad.

 

you have retrograde mercury, deb jupiter, sun, moon, and rahu ketu.

most of these planets are in the nakshatra of sravana during the

eclipse. this nakshatra has multiple meanings but an eclipse there

means what?

 

this nakshatra is a political nakshatra as it relates to those who

care much about their public reputation hence it can make a politician.

 

well maybe this eclipse signifies reputation??? the persons reputation

will be decided by the course of events that transpire. like we all

knew everybody is going to test obama to see what he is made of.
