Namaste,

 

There are many people who may not believe in rebirth and the karma theory

because you cannot prove these to them. Many of us including you believe in the

karma theory and in rebirth. So also we believe in astrology and that the natal

charts tell us about past karma and in this life we reap according to our past

karma and the present karma together and that is why some present karmas do

influence on our past karmaphal. In the Mahabharata also there umpteen

instances of  omens (effect of the grahas and nakhsatras). Hindus believe in

all these. Astrology was there in the Hindu culture from the beginning and it is

mentioned in the Manu Smriti. Besides Hindus the other religions and

communities also have such beliefs. The christians believe that Jesus Christ

himself predicted that he would resurrect after death and that he accordingly

resurrected yet after his death he could appear before some of his disciples in

flesh amd blood. They also believe

that Jesus was born of a virgin mother and that Jesus could walk on water.

Christians also believe that the soul dies on death. Islam also believes that

the Moon was split into two parts by Prophet Muhammad and that prophet Muhammad

had once journeyed to some distant far-away inaccessible regions in one night.

 

Mr. Kaul may call all these as nonsense. So leave him alone. He may find some

supporters like him in many fora and we need not bother about that. But he is

spreading some lies such as the Rashis are not there in the Veda and Vedanga and

that astrology was not known to the Hindus in the ancient times. We sould be on

our guard only against his such mischievous lies.

Well, that is a good joke but it is a cruel one since it is at the cost of the

sanctity of the Vedas! This joke has been going on for that last several

centuries. As such, pl. coin some new joke now since people have become bored to

death by such joke being repeated time and again!

 

I know u know it in your heart of hearts that the so called Vedic astrology is

actually the greatest fraud on the Vedas but u have no courage to say so openly!
