Guest guest
Respected Gurujan's and learned members Just recently my friend's son has been diagnosed with Autism. The child is less than two years old - please refer chart attache along with this mail. To say the least, the family has gone into major shock and anxiety overload - the father seems to be the most affected and he is reluctant to acknowledge the child's condition. He however shared his son's birth details with me - with a request not to share news about his son's condition. But Am taking this opportunity to act in the interest of the child and am seeking advice from Guru's!! Am looking forward to expert advice and remedies that need to be done to give the child a better future and if possible remedy his situation. The child's birth details are - October 19, 2007 Time: 13:28:00 Time Zone: 5:30:00 (East of GMT) Place: 77 E 35' 00 " , 12 N 59' 00 " Bangalore, India Alternately you can also find the chart attached in jhd format! My humble respects to all. Virendra
Guest guest
Dear Virendra I took a look at the chart for the child and can see so many problems afflicting the health and ability. Being born into Sun MD where sun is eighth lord is not good either. Moon is aspected by malefic Mars and Mercury by Saturn which suggests epilepsy may also affect the child? Sadly there are no strong benefics in kendra or trikona which would have helped with some promise of overcoming the disability, though moon is vargottama in ninth navamsa but with an amazing line up of Jupiter, Mercury and Rahu. Autism is very little understood, though in the UK there are some excellent schools with some good practise for helping with communication skills and education. Of course some savants have this condition, didn't Thom Hanks play the role of an autistic person/savant in one of his films? I think the trick is to find what animates the child and use that activity to form a basis for relating. For instance one father found his autistic child loved horses, and ended up taking the child to be with shamans in South America I think, where some amazing encounters and breakthroughs took place. The father has written a book about the experience, though sadly though I read some excerpts I can't remember the title. Here are a few internet links to news items about this boy: http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2009/04/23/eveningnews/main4965041.shtml http://www.telegraph.co.uk/earth/outdoors/5050076/How-the-Horse-Boy-conquered-au\ tism.html and here is a good link to a website about the condition itself which your friend might find useful: http://www.health-reports.com/autism.html?gclid=CO3ni5LqtpoCFSp35Qod_it6cg I wouldn't want to be responsible for suggesting any remedies for this condition and mislead parents into believing they would give an instant cure to be honest. I do think that with the right kind of help from experienced parents and organisations, this child and his parents can find some helpful ways of addressing the child's needs much more successfully. best wishes M - Virendra Kumar Sohamsa ; SriJagannath ; Tuesday, May 12, 2009 2:48 AM Autistic child?? Guest guest
The chart seems to be correct, at least Rasi and Navamsa. See that lagna lord Saturn is in MB, very near to Ketu and *in the 8th house and 22nd drekkana. *Problems are bound to occur without a very helpful Navamsa and other charts. See the important significance of Sun and Moon both being in initial degres. Situation seems to be almost hopeless. However, still, I will advise the parents seriously to recite Mahamrityunjaya and other mantras faithfully (themselves) and make it a routine. Divine help may come gradually, but definitely, I feel. If possible, please give me the correct horoscope of parents with details of other children (for my research purposes). Guest guest
Dear Marg Thanks for looking into this child's chart. Yes, I agree Autism with its various levels is difficult to understand and a person afflicted by it faces a prolonged struggle - there are no instantaneous cures!! Apart from what you just mentioned - lagna lord saturn is in the 8th house and aspects 3rd house from AL. Saturn is conjoined with Venus - Venus is the lord of 3rd house from AL. Badhakesh Ketu is along with this combo and co badhak Mars occupies the 6th house!! Rahu aspects this combo of Saturn+Venus in the 8th house - is the child being poisoned?? Or is it a case of tatwa imbalance?? Added to this - the sign dispositor Sun is debilitated in the 10th house. Sun and Mercury both are aspected by Rahu and Saturn!! My sincere guess is nervous system too is affected here! Seems like a nowin situation for the child!! The family is in a shock and in self denial mode where they cannot digest that their only child is diagnosed with Autism. As for me, I believe that timely intervention can salvage some of the situation!! Thanks Marg for sparing your time. Guest guest
Dear Virendra, What is so striking about the chart is the heavy afflictions at play to the physical body(first house and Sun), with L1 in 8th conjunct Ketu, dispositor Sun in 10th but with L6, and Mars aspecting first house, not only that we can see due to Moon in first house the mental and emotional bodies are equally as afflicted. I know too little about the condition but autism means the child will have highly sensitive cognitive processing which we can only imagine, there is too much going on internally which can be very frightening and overwhelming. We can see that this condition is so clearly conveyed by Saturn dispositing the Moon, fearful mind/emotions, and the 8th house position is where the depths of subtle psychic and intuitive experience, and metaphysical encounter is to be found. The child it would seem is extremely psychically hyper sensitive and may be processing more than just the physical realms we ordinary folk would have to deal with. These children shut off from ordinary exchanges and need constant routine and gentle but firm reinforcement of behaviour to help them cope with everyday life. It's a condition which always intrigued me, as once while visiting a school I noticed a young child staring at me, so just smiled and said ''hello'', he said hello back, and was pounced upon by all the staff and overwhelmed with praise for saying hello. I was disturbed at how much they overwhelmed him, instead of allowing him to experience a normal exchange. He seemed distressed also at the attention. He was autistic and had never spoken before apparently. He was such a lovely child, but in those days no schools were around to teach such children. I went home feeling guilty at bringing down the unwanted attention of staff upon his head, but also pleased that I had helped him connect in a normal way. What is unusual about the chart is the Moon aspecting own house, surely indicating relationships are an important area? We can only hope he forms good ones with people who know how to help, but I also feel longevity may be under threat? Jupiter in eleventh can also bring ''glue'' ear to the left ear in childhood, but this is easy to have sorted out nowadays, though could bring some hearing difficulties to start with until it's checked? A ravenous appetite is also shown, has he given any indication of eating more than usual? You could perhaps talk to Ben at puja.net to find out if any yagya might help the child, especially with a heavily occupied ninth navamsa. of course the parents will be in denial that's all to be expected, hopefully the book I recommended brings help understanding, insight and support for such parents so they don't feel so alone with the condition. I would be very gentle with the child as he will have so much ''transmission'' filtering through to his mind and feelings that he will struggle to relate to the physical environment. best wishes M - Virendra Kumar ; Sohamsa ; SriJagannath Tuesday, May 12, 2009 11:28 PM Re: Autistic child??
