Dear Dada,

If our personal belief is firm and we are fully at peace with same, we shall not

sway readily in the winds created by the uncertainties of others!

It is when we take up the formidable task of transforming others without even

knowing or getting to know who the 'others' are is when we run into problems

that Internet and particularly Jyotish fora are experiencing!

You can never make an enemy see your point! First make him a friend, because

really in the very short time that we human beings are given to spend a

lifetime, there is not enough time to make enemies, although when we stretch our

hands to make friends, TIME stretches!

Must be one of those quantum realities or something ... What do I know?

If some people do not believe in it one has to leave them alone. In the same

way one should not object to anybody's believing in astrology. The Grahas and

the Nakshatras may effect us either in  inperceptible or in imperceptible ways.

The Jupiter is protecting us by diverting to itself some stray heavenly bodies,

which otherwise would have hit the Earth. We see the effect of the Sun and the

Moon on water when go to the sea-side and we should not forget that our bodies

have more water than anything else.  If one one wants to evaluate these

effects anew on statistical basis we should not object to it. But if one

condemns astrology just because he thinks that the Grahas and the Nakshatras

cannot affect us or that any relation between the heavenly bodies and us cannot

exist then  that condemnation is unpardonable.
