Even today, all recognized Sanskrit universities teach it in Jyotish classes. If Mr Hattangadi_suresh is not interested in Suryasiddhanta , who is imposing Suryasiddhantaon him ? But to ban Suryasiddhantafrom astrology is a ludicrous proposition. Moreover, I did not start this discussion, because I know internet is not a proper place for a discussion on Suryasiddhanta.
