Looking at Supreme court nominee Sonia Sotomayor's chart from Chandra lagna -

June 25, 1954, Bronx, NY, it appears to me that she will be confirmed around /

before July 28, 2009 positively.

 

Chart from chandra lagna: Moon in Aries, Me ®, su, Ju, Ketu in Gemini,

Venus in cancer, Sat ® in libra, Rahu and Mars ® in Sagi. Three retro

plantets - Sat, Me and Mars.

 

From Chandra lagna Aries, Sat is tenth lord. Jupiter's transit into Aq recently

potentially triggered this nomination, in addition to Justice Souter's

retirement. I see elevation before July 28, 2009 in her favor.

 

Based on 12 noon time, she is running Rahu-Sat and will soon enter(July, 22) Mer

bhukti.

 

Mercury is the Atmakaraka and health seems to be an issue. I read in wiki that

she has Type I diabetes that partially confirms the case. But I think her health

issues might need more attention in the coming years than now. If her Mercury

bhukti is starting (say in July) soon

in rahu dasa, then this will hold water more so.

 

 

Her tenth lord from moon is Sat and Chief justice Roberts' tenth lord is also

Sat and both have exalted Saturn in libra!
