Guest guest
Hi Group, I was wondering as I have not been able to reproduce the exact same cusp degrees and also vimshotari dashas (for the various charts in example here in the files section) using various ayanamshas combinations in my software (Goravani). I have tried couple of combinations as straight line, different alignment dates and rate/yr but somehow I get the cusps right and the dasha wrong or the other way around. As you can understand from my query this is the first step I am taking to understand the KP world more in depth, but as you all will agree the right ayanamsha which you attest as being used in your software is important for me as well to learn in your lines. I am expecting the alignment date used and the rate/yr used from the alignment date. From what I have in my software the alignment date of 01/01/0291 and the rate/yr of 50.2388475/yr does not help me produce the charts similar as in the softwares generally used in this group for analysis. Your guidance would be appreciated. Thanks, SP
Guest guest
Dear Mr.Potdar, For your ready reference the latest and most correctly calculated Ayanamsa values for the years 1900 to 2052 A.D., have been reproduced by Mr.A.R.Raichur in the files section... The figures given refer to the Ayanamsa on April 15,every year...and,these can be adjusted any other period in the year by adding or substracting the proportionate amont of Ayanamsa... L.Y.Rao. Guest guest
|| Om Gurave Namah || Hari Om, Dear SP, Ayanamsa setting and year settings (defining for Vimshottari ) in Software are seperate issues. Algorithim used in Gorvani is fine but there is approximation emplyed in cusp calculation. In This group list many SW are used .Main are Sri Raichurs and KP astro. To get satisfactory resuls from any sw simply you can check Ayanamsa by following formulae. [Year-297] X 0.0139552. ..(In KP set year lengith as 365.25 Approx.) Hope this helps.
