" Uccha Bhanga " is an undesirable disposition of planets. It happens when two exalted planets aspect each other. There is a saying in Tamil, " Ucchan Ucchanai parthal Jathagan pichhai eduppan " . The rough translation of the same is " when an exalted planet receives the aspect of another exalted planet the native becomes a beggar " . Dr. B.V. Raman describes this disposition, as Uccha Bhanga Yoga and is bad. He was of the view that the native heads for bankruptcy. It is not uncommon to see in charts that when Jupiter is exalted in Cancer and Mars is exalted in Capricorn. Regards, C.S. Ravindramani.
