Dear Rajendra ji,

 

[ 1 ] Water can be offered to the Sun God at any time so long as the

Sun hasn't set.

[ 2 ] Sure yes, having eaten has nothing to do with your respect for

the Sun God. You could always offer water to it even if you have

eaten.
