Guest guest
Dear All: I think this is one of the greatest things we can do, to reflect on the 'best' of both Jyotish and Western Astrologys... I personally believe that 'nature' exists somewhere, out there, somewhere, in-between West & East.... In other words there are some aspects of Western Astrology that I still really like, and some, many aspects of Jyotish that I find fabulous... This is why I've focused on the Transits, so much, beause Nature, lives Astrology... not western, not eastern....but this pure, simple....natural astrology.... But, when you watch 'nature' you can see, mirrored, in outer; objective & subjective experiences,.... the verification of many of the rules of Astrology.. enjoy Mark Kincaid Hans Gerhard Jäger <hans.gerhard.jaeger Tue, 13 Apr 2004 12:33:20 +0200 Re: Fw: 2-hans, from Mark Kincaid....4/8 - Flick <rubysun Tuesday, April 13, 2004 9:33 AM Re: Fw: 2-hans, from Mark Kincaid....4/8 On 13/4/04 4:48 am, " Hans Gerhard Jäger " <hans.gerhard.jaeger wrote: > Two years ago I started studying Jyotish by Internet (Dirah >> Academy). Hi Hans, Are you still doing the course, or did you either drop it or finish it? I just finished the basic course. Thank you. I'm doing the Dirah course too, am now on the second part, the advanced course, and it seems that one of the aims will be to look into links between the two systems, including use of the outer planets, though one initially is expected to interpret only via Vedic astrology. My tutor is very flexible with interpreting dire and doomful Vedic placements though. I think much good will come out of taking the best from both systems. Although Vedic astrology appears to destroy the ego, in other ways it's more materially posited, with charts being done for mundane events, starting a business for example, or gaining wealth. In some ways western astrology aims to be very spiritual, urging people to self development and seeing past material wants. An interesting blend we have forming I think. So let's spend the time together. It's full of suspense ! LOL, I said I wasn't going to have time to respond to messages for a while, and I've just responded to three, one on Tanvir's group and two here :-)) Flick.
