Hi Therese and all,

Interesting article about the mesopotamian zodiac, although I need

to it as soon as I have a connection with it, but thanks for

sharing, because it could make my puzzle complete.

I have always been wondering where the exact origins of astrology

were situated.

You wrote that the origins of mesopotamian strology cam from about

116 BC. Well before that time there appeared to have been a form of

astrology in Germany allready in 1600 BC. As stunning found was made

a few years ago: a beautiful bronze with gold layer disk from 1600

BC, which was used for probable religious purpose. It depicts the

sun, moon and stars with a stunning depiction of the pleiades, which

is inside the nakshatra Krittika, which was originally the first

sign of the vedic astrology, I have understood. (please correct me

if I am wrong) I was wondering whether you heard of this stardisk or

the cultus of ancient Germany around 1600 BC.

Information about the stardisk is to be found at:

National Geographic online

I haven't found out much about this disk, but I am SOOO very

interested in the cultus around that time in Germany, because that

would really mean that there was an intelligent civilization in

Germany (next to the Netherlands where I live) which is even older

than the Egyptian one.
