Guest guest
Thank you Therese -- For everyone I have another BIG question What aya to use? especially with on the cusp degrees I know that with this question alone it can spark a furor of debate and volumes to read. So, I understand the complexity. And, know that in time all good things have an answer. I was just wondering what most here do when they calculate and why Debra , Therese Hamilton <eastwest@s...> wrote: > Debra, big questions!! I began with the Fagan-Bradley ayanamsa, then changed to Lahiri, I think because it worked better for the navamsa. (This was a long time ago.) Then I discovered that the Krishnamurti ayanamsa worked better for timing. Rick Houck, who usd a very precise kind of astrology, and was always right in his political predictions, used an ayanamsa that was almost, but not quite Krishnamurti. There is about a 6 minute difference between L and K. Rick used an ayanamsa closer to five degrees from Lahiri. Therese
Guest guest
For me Fagan-Bradley just didn't work for the navamsas. My oldest son has Libra rising in nav. with FB, and Scorpio rising with both Lahiri and Krishnamurti. Hid energy is much more like the latter sign than the former. But as to whether L or K is correct, I really don't know. .... Guest guest
Dear Therese ... I printed out your chapter on Gemini and it was last night's bed time reading. Very good! I like the way you connect mythology with "life as we know it". With Gemini rising and Saturn there in the natal and Sun there in Navamsa I could relate to a lot of what you said. I liked the thing about the coexistence of enjoyment of the physical world and a deep attunement to divinity. ....
