I don't totally agree about people who get married

before 25 are more prone to divorce.Let say about

India, people or say girls are geting married at a age

of 19-20 years and there life is more successful than

people who are getting married at a age after 25 or 26

years.

A reason for this is that, you know about life so much

that, you start hating it afterwards,By the time saturn

comes again in your natal chart,You have completed

first round of your life. Now it is time to go in

second round. So most people's life changes during this

phase of life. That does mean you should get married

after that age.Ya to certain extent what you trying to

say is right, that understanding, support and values

will come after that age.

But marriage is not only about those things, those

things will develop with age,but it is also about

loving ,having fun together, exploring ourselves with a

world.Being together,This is possible only at a young

age,If you do this,than understanding,caring will come

for each other with a age.Life is to Live not to

understand.

Hi All,

Since we're kind of on this tack, I thought to throw

this at ya.

We've all read and heard about Saturn's role in terms

of overall

maturation. But I think what we don't consider nearly

enough is this

ringed planet's role in relationships and marriage.

Classically, Saturn is exalted in Libra - Venus' sign.

There is a

link

established between these two unlikely planets.

If one takes the time to study the history and purpose

of marriage,

particularly in the Western context, one can easily

see the

connections

between this institution's development and Saturn's

Western

classical

exaltation.

We all know that any contact between Venus and Saturn

tends to

suggest a

" toning down " a " chilling " of the emotions. A delay,

strategic,

emotional, or otherwise, can occur in terms of the

" blooming " of

Venusian dimensions. Looked at in the way we are

daling with here,

it

can suggest a slow, steady building of relationship;

permanance,

purpose, and committment are the keys.

We all know the state of affairs as it relates to

marriage here in

the

USA. Divorce rates are at all-time high levels.

Additionally, we

know

from many studies produced by those who work in such

fields, that

the

YOUNGER a person is when they marry, the MORE LIKELY

they are to

divorce

later on. Most researchers tend to agree that, in our

society, a

person

who marries before age 25 has a tremendous set of odds

stacked

against

them in terms of making their marriage last in the

long term.

But we astrologers have an additional insight when it

comes to these

and

other matters. It is called the Saturn Return.

This period, usually occuring between 28 to 30 years

of age, is a

time

when transiting Saturn returns to its natal placement

in the chart.

This

entire period reflects a very important time of life;

it is a time

when

a person truly becomes an adult in our society.

How many of us have seen couples who marry prior to

their Saturn

Return,

only to divorce not soon after? I think a major reason

for this has

to

do with the fact, for most people, they haven't really

come into

their

own, so to speak. Saturn represents " the harsh

reality " , and

marriage is

a huge responsibility and committment. In our ever

increasing

freedom

oriented, individualistic worshipping culture, such

concerns are

easily

tossed aside.

In particular, in my view, Saturn tying itself into

either the 7th

house

and/or Venus in the chart, and/or Saturn Rx, is even

stronger signal

that caution and preparedness is needed when it comes

to the

question of

marriage. Time, experience, confidence-building and

emotional

maturation

are needed before such a massive undertaking is done.

I think, more than we may want to admit or even

realize, that

Saturn's

role is very, very important when it comes to

considering the

question

of marriage or serious, committed longterm

relationship.

Anyone have any comments, observations or charts they

might want to

share?

Salaam,

Mu

I think that in the USA it's true that people should wait a while to marry. India's different. I think the roles of men and women are more proscribed there ... that's neither good or bad.
