Guest guest
Mark, At the outset I thank for your detail response. There were some good points that I could confirm to myself. I also have few associated queries. You may clarify them. Following are valuable conclusions drawn from your response: When Mars is either in 1,4,7 or12 it has an aspect on the 7th. 7th being the house of relationships and Mars being aggressive the results of the combinations are as follows. 1. These people tend to find it difficult to manage relationships harmoniously, if not in all their relationships predominantly in their relationship with their spouse. 2. Do you think that these people tend be aggressive and possessive in their relationships? Your Observation…… 3. 2nd house being the house of speech, what are ur observations with Mars in second? Do these people tend to speak harsh or aggressive? 4. I understand that Mars in 8th reduces the life span of an individual? Well, I understand that the overall reading of life span depends on many other factors also. But What are ur observations on Mars in 8th ? Astonishingly, even I have read recently that somewhere nearly 42% of the population has kuja dosh, That should be true because 1,2,4,7,8,12 are not good places for Mars That is 6 of 12 houses, now take the possibility of this placement with Moon & Ascendant, the probability is even more It should come to around 50%. Added to this 13% of women (Say couples, as men might also have their due share) in India are childless (National Average) When one goes for marriage compatibility with 60% elimination, it is getting very difficult to find suitable alliances :-)) To share on a personal note, I have Mars in my 1st in Taurus, and yes….i find it little (a little) difficult to manage my relations……… I also have Venus in my 7th so a bit counter influence on the Mars behavior…. Guest guest
Rajeev ... I'd like to make a few points based on people I know personally. Mars in 2 tends to have a loud voice, but is not neccessarily argumentative or aggressive in what they say. Just the voice is loud. They also may spend money impulsively and unwisely. Argumentativeness, rudeness, and the tendency to interrupt or say harsh things is more likely to come from aspects between Mars and Mercury, or even Mars and Moon (Moon/Mars asps can be " bitchy " in either sex), I guess since the Moon just has to do with the personality in general. I believe that though the 2nd hs has to do with the voice itself, the 3rd has more to do with what you say. 2nd=speech, 3rd=message using that speech. I've known many people with kuja dosha who married young and had successful marriages. So many other things come into play. Like everything else in astrology, you have to get the complete picture. A strong Venus or 7th hs that's well fortified in other ways helps. Also, one must look to the navamsa, as it's the chart of the spouse. My husband has Mars in 12 and we've had a successful marriage. He's a gentle and easy going bloke for the most part, but likes to do things his own way and get his own way. Sometimes he'll make a major purchase w/o consulting me, which I don't like, but I wouldn't get a divorce over it. I attribute that trait more to his having Sun and Venus in Aries and Pluto rising than to kuja dosha. Some texts go so far as to say that kd has to do not just with the 7th hs, but also with Moon and Venus. So if you have Mars forming a cnj, forward sq, opp, or quincunx to any of those three, you'd have kd! Or if Mars is in the house immediately after any of those points! That would hardly leave anyone who didn't have it. ....
