Happy Guru Purnimah!

July 21st 2005

One of the great traditions from the Vedic Wisdom is to celebrate the GURU,

during the Full Moon, each year in July!

So, today, offer your thoughts, prayers, and appreciations to all the Mentors, teachers,

and Gurus of your life.

From Teacher, to parent, to God, him/herself, Guru represents the 'teacher'.

The tradition also is that this day, is a great opportunity to receive from the Guru, due

to one's prostrations and appreciations.

Great boons are possible due to the Guru.

Christ was a great Guru!

So, enjoy this great fullness of the Moon, today, and give 'thanks' to the hugely important

" Tradition of Masters " , that makes up the Guru Tradition.

Gurus, from time immemorial, have given out their wisdoms, by word of mouth, and through

that system of teaching, the fullness of Ved, is again available to us today, due to all the great

Gurus and their students!

Jai Guru!

Sincerely,
