Dear Amith:

You mention you have a Leo rising. Well, this last year Saturn went into

Cancer which is a hard enough transit, but for your chart this means Sani's

transiting your 12th house, too.

This may be the reason why you're experiencing what you're going through.

What I've leaned in such Saturn moments is to give into, or surrender to Saturn.

In other words, as much as possible, instead of trying more, especially because

so little is happening, this may be a good time to develop your inner self.

Such times, especially later looking backwards are great spiritual times,

potentially.

Like when one is experiencing roughness or lack of ease there's a tendency to

push, but the Saturn approach is to take better care of oneself, get more rest,

meditate more, take time off, etc. and in this greater Saturn inwardness,

stirring Sani, then, life begins to move again.

All such Sani obstacles are nature's way of showing us how intune we are w/Sani

and how much more inwardness and silence we need to cultivate.

Now I understand that at every moment I can be awake to Saturn's 'stillness'.

Always now, I make sure I'm settled enough, that I feel steady.

Then, I'm being in-tune w/Sani, and as a result am more awake to the guidances

on an every day level that might be coming.

Like Winter, or lots of traffic in a trip, or delays.

If we're awake and open to Sani's guidance, then whenever we're being shown

Saturn moments, then we can let go of our sense of what should be going on, and

accepting Saturn, all kinds of great things can come from this.

Out of town right now, but will be back on Saturday.

Take care

Namaste Dear Markji, My Birth Date is 18.11.1979, Place Bangalore Time 01:30 AM and Rising sign being Leo For some time now I have giong through a rough patch of my life (relatively). but for the few months may be one year all things have kind of stopped, nothing is moving , whatever work i take up my personal work it somewhat hangs in the middle way , i am not able to complete it. but if I do the same work for others it is easily completed. And moreover it is hurting people who are very close to me. and during the winter , all work are in opsition of stand still , nothing is moving at all. Winter is the natural rest cycle of the year, but we think because we're somehow more intelligent or sophisticated that we can go, go, go, like in the Spring.Quite often then, we begin to suffer....And....Saturn has done his job, to show us when we're straining or being out of tune with

nature. But, understanding 'all' this can inspire us to study more how to be more in-tune with Saturn and as a result become more in-tune with life! One of the greatest things I've learned from Jyotish/life, and especially Saturn is that Saturn responds very well to more rest, and silence. When I'm feeling tired or overwhelmed, the Saturn approach is to rest more. Then, like a mircle all the troubles and worries begin to become less.Like that I've turned my thinkings all around and I appreciate that Winter is the time of Saturn and this is the time for more inward direction, development, and rest. The key however is you have to be ready.Savings then are very helpful, so that you can adjust to the slower pace of nature and of life. What is your date of birth w/rising sign? And, what is your present experience of Saturn and winter?Sincerely,Mark K.-
