" Happiness Is A State of Mind " ..... Happiness is a State of MOON!

You know the ol' expression, 'happiness is a state of mind'?

Well to a great extent, I think it's true.

Therefore, because Jyotish/Astrology understands that the 'mind',

is really a reflection of the 'Moon', then,....happiness should really be a matter of Moon!

In this article we'll examine how the Moon reflects one's state of 'mind', and emotions,

and how the Mind, like the Moon, can be expanded or increased for greater satisfaction, and eventually....... happiness.

Watch how you 'feel', how the mind feels for 2 or 3 months in a row, watching each day, as the Moon gets bigger .... and then,....smaller and smaller.

You'll discover a direct correlation between the Mind, feelings, emotions, and the Moon!

In addition, the rules surrounding the relationship between the various states of the Moon, in our charts, and the various, precise states of emotional and mental security and happiness; in our lives..... shows that the Moon,....is the Mind!

Jyotish Principle#1

When the Moon is small, whether Waxing or Waning, the person will exhibit much emotional instability, worries, phobias of all kinds, restlessness, sadness, and fear.

This is literally symbolic of the Moon's size representing a small degree of emotional and mental development.

The Moon, however, which is Waxing and extremely big, at least between 1/2 full and Full; the person will exhibit much emotional and mental strength, clarity of mind, emotional evenness, intuition, and inner strength.

Traditionally, the Moon as it's Waning, (or getting smaller), even though at times the Moon might be fairly big, still represents a very erratic emotional and mental constitution.

So, What's to be done!

Well, generally, not much is thought really can be done. Sure, some Jyotish remedies might be suggested especially during difficult Moon or Sade Sat periods, but still; not much really can be done.

But, today, a new insight has come to light, in the ancient field of Ved, (or pure Knowledge), and that is that the person can develop themselves.

Recent innovations in the field of 'Meditation' and the Expansion of Consciousness, indicate that it's not possible to develop the innate inner potential that is there, lying dormant in human consciousness.

And, where human potential has generally been thought to be limited to a measly 5, or 10%, now, it's even being scientifically validated that more and more of that 'innate' potential can be unfolded.

So, if this is true, and the mind of any person can be improved.

If, through such techniques as meditation, the person can grow in terms of emotional and mental presence of mind, what does this mean in terms of the Jyotish, or Astrological chart?

It means, literally, that the Moon can be improved or increased in our lives, and therefore charts.

Like the real Moon, which knows how to regularly Wax, or get bigger, the nature of the human mind, too, can get bigger!

As it does, then, the Moon will be bigger in our charts and our lives.

As a result, we'll find ourselves living, spontaneously, more inner presence of mind, clarity of thinking, intuition, and yes, even happiness.

This is a great insight of Vedic Science, that it's now, possible to increase our potential.

As a result, we've learned a great 'truism' of even Jyotish, that our charts are not just maps or descriptions of our 'fate', but they're also indicative of our futures, potential, and even possibilities of self-improvement.

Looking at the Moon, now, in this way we can even think of other remedies that might help us develop our Moon's and as a result our emotional and mental happiness.

One of the greatest experiences I've had in studying Jyotish for over 18 years now, is that there is this intimate connection between our selves, emotions, and what the Moon is doing.

When you watch the Moon for even 2 or 3 months, you'll feel that connection.

Watch the Moon for a little longer and it can appear to one, that the Moon is like a huge cycle.

It gets bigger and bigger, and then it peaks, and then smaller and smaller.

Again, each month, bigger and bigger, then more and more empty.

It seems so fruitless until you're reminded about other cycles that you know.

Each day, the Sun climbs high in the sky and we feel like getting up and doing, and being active. Then, later in the day as the Sun 'wanes', we begin to feel tired, the night comes, and we fall asleep.

Why?

So, the next day can begin again, but now, refreshed from a full nite's sleep.

Like that, daily cycle of rest & activity, the Moon reflects a deeper, Monthly cycle of rest and activity.

In addition to the daily cycle there is the Moon's cycle of rest...... and then activity....

Rest.....and ..... activity...... Waning....and then Waxing....

When you learn to look at the Moon in this way, then, it becomes more clear, the Moon is not a static measure of our emotional or mental 'fate'.

No, the Moon is the means by which we start our lives, and through the regular churnings of the Moon, we can grow, emotionally, mentally and even spiritually.

Unfortunately, so very few people are educated to pay attention to their feelings, or emotions, much less as to the 'Moon', in life.

As a result, this great treasure and aspect of life, is very 'dim', and undeveloped.

Every once in awhile, however, you'll meet someone with a very good emotional stability, evenness or intuition.

When you look at their charts, they may have started out with a big Moon, or they may have spent 15, or 20 years practicing things like meditation,.... and you realize,

'oh my, the Moon can be improved!'

The other thing I love to share with people, who have any desire to either improve their Moons, Minds, or emotions, is to #,..... Be more in-tune with these 2 various stages of the Moon.

When the Moon's Waning, like now, feel that quality in your body and go with it.

Allow yourself to be more restful, do less, be more easy, and plan to retire, rejuvenate, etc.

Then, as the Moon begins to Wax, notice, how immediately, you begin to feel more outward, dynamic and energetic. Therefore during these Waxing times, allow yourself to 'do' the most.

Plan your greatest events, projects, enterprises during the Waxing Moon, and see if these activities aren't more successful.

You'll notice, too, that those 'things' that are innocently or ignorantly planned during the Waning cycle and especially around the New Moon, seem weak, listless, and eventually 'doomed', to be unsuccessful!

Allow yourself to be more and more in-tune with these 2 cycles for a few more months, and you'll begin to experience a quality of naturalness and nature support that you only hear about in story books or legends.

Finally, use the Moon, itself to increase your emotional and mental stability, clarity, and intuition.

As the Moon's getting bigger, focus, enjoy waves of activity, meetings, events, etc.

But, then, as the Moon begins to wane, notice that this new time, is ideal for re-organization, for catching up on tardy paperwork, or details that are involved and follow every project.

Do those during the Waning cycle, and prepare for the last week's Waxings, and New Moon for a time of deep rest, rejuvenation and revival.

Be in-tune with the Moon, and life, itself, will flow more spontaneously, more effortlessly, and more graciously, ..... with you.

As a result: 2 benefits will come to you....

#1....more and more inner happiness .... and....

#2... more and more success on even the outer level.

These two areas, by the way, are the 2 main characteristics of the Moon, itself.

It both represents our emotional or mental happiness, on the inside; and, our areas of attention, focus and work in the World.

Learn to handle your Moon, develop it's inner resources, and find more

HAPPINESS, in life.

Sincerely,
