Thanks Mark, Thats so good to know that my moon is waxing and not under any bad influence.

I dont know what my rising sign is. I just know that my sun sign is saggitarius.

 

I hope Mars doesnt have that much of a bad influence on my moon.

Mars like every planet can affect our emotions. And, your Mars because it's in Cancer,

the home of the Moon, may. However, Mars, there, tends to reflect a kind of timidness, being weak or undeveloped there in Cancer.

 

I know what this is like, since I, too have 'had' Mars/Cancer.

 

Like I said, it occured to me that Mars there, was more like a thorn, in one's side.

 

Once you put attention on strengthening Mars, then that will automatically be 'felt' as

an improvement, even on that Cancer feeling level, too.

ps.... Avinish: What I do in my Jyotish classes, is I encourage people to make a list

of not only their strengths, but the areas in which they're either troubled, or have problems, or just want to grow.

 

Then, the key, is to find the malefic configurations that are representative of those

challenges....

 

Then, it's a relatively simple thing to focus on improving those Astrological configurations, or planets!

 

If transcending is learning how to affect a holistic type of benefit, Jyotish is about

dealing with the problems on!, the level of the problem....

Otherwise, you're very fortunate, and the Moon's one of your Benefic

influences.

 

What is your rising sign?

 

The only last consideration is what House does your Moon rule?

Hi Mark,

 

 

 

Read your article on moon. Its very nicely written.

 

 

 

I have a very basic question. I don't know how to determine (from the birth chart) the state of the moon (waxing or waning, how big).

 

 

 

Could you please let me know the state of my moon from my birth chart. (and also, if possible the method to do the same)

10:20 am
